CHAPTER 10:

Day 28:

"What the heck, abrille. Para saan lahat ng sandamakmak na laruan to."

I smiled at him while staring at different kinds of toys and dolls in my unit. I immediately run at the door when I hear my door bells.

"Goodmorning Ma'am, delivery from SM." I signed the paper. "50pcs of elders terno panjamas. Sa kabilang box po ang mga pampers."

"Thank you!"

Napabalik naman ang tingin ko kay yzien na hanggang ngayon ay tinititigan pa din ang madaming bagay sa condo ko.

"We will visit an orphanage. Magkahiwalay sila, One is children's orphanage while the other one is a home for the aged." Napatango naman sya sa sinabi ko.

"We're going now?"

"Ofcourse. Si kuya noel ang magdadrive satin papunta doon."

He nods at me while staring at numerous boxes in my unit. He helped me to put those boxes on Kuya noel's van, actually, yzien and kuya noel are the only one who put those boxes because they didn't let me to do that job.

Auntie and me are okay, she's the one who prepared all of this. We just had a little argument after that tagaytay thing but we immediately fixed it. I mean, I can't be mad at her and she can't be mad at me so yeah, we're okay now like nothing happened.

"Makakapunta po ba si auntie?" Tanong ko kay kuya noel habang busy na ito sa pagd-drive.

"May meeting ngayon si Ma'am sa pangasinan kaya hindi sya makakasama."

"Ganon po ba. Sayang naman."

I heavily sighed. I'm not mad, I'm just worried at her. Since my mom died and dad need to leaves the work, she become the one who manage the company. She's a very busy person since then and I'm worried that she might overwork herself.

"What are you thinking?" I stop overthinking when I hear Yzien voice.

"Nothing." He give me a worried look that why I give him a smile. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine, promise." He just shrugged and look away.

My eyes laid on the tall trees as we got closer and closer to our destination. My heart started to feel excited and happy. Ibinaba ko ang bintana ng kotse at inilabas duon ang ulo ko para maamoy ang sariwa at preskong hangin.

There's something special about this day that I can't explain. Nagising ako ng maaga, dahilan para makita ko ang sunrise. May nakasabay ako kumain ng breakfast, I didn't know that after so many years mararanasan ko pa pala ang kumain ng may kasama.

Its like a perfect day to me, maybe because this will be my last birthday. Its my birthday. Pinagbigyan nya siguro ako and I'm really grateful for that.

"Why are you smiling?" Yzien asked while staring at me weirdly.

"Wala lang, napaka ganda lang ng araw." Sabi ko at muling tumingin sa araw, napapikit ang mata ko ng masilayan nito ang taglay nitong liwanag.

After an hour nakarating na din kami sa children's orphanage. It was actually an orphanage for cancer patients, and that's the reason why I chose this orphanage.

"Yay! We're here na!" Sigaw ko ng makalabas sa sasakyan at makita ang isang maliit na bahay.

Its like a small house pero ng makapasok kami dito ay malawak pala ang loob nito. Kumpleto sila ng facilities na kailangan ng mga bata dito. Dumeretsyo kami sa event hall nila para ayusin ang lahat ng dala namin, pati na din ang pagkain.
