ENGRAVED
Writing is in my blood
And it's who I am.
I can spill my heart on the rough pages
Knowing I wouldn't be judged on later.
The stories help me get away
From the reality being a radioactive decay
And the poems help me
Face all my demons in my head.
I'm a writer through and through
And if you were to disect me
You'd find nothing but the words
Engraved inside my bones.
It's my druglike I'm high all the time
From all the things I have yet to write.
Writing is my home
And it's all I've ever known.
