A GUIDE

To all the guys that ever come into my life.

I don't need you to be a poet,

To be good with words – thats taken.

Just let me explain so you won't be mistaken.

I don't need to you be a poet.

To think of me as the air you breathe.

I need you to think of me as the thing you love most.

If the thing you love most is math

And sloving equations

Think of me as one.

As an equation you're despreatly trying to solve,

Finding it to be impossible but still trying anyway.

I want you to think of me as something new and exciting to learn

Even if you might never understand

Me completley.

If the thing you love most is boxing

Think of me as your oponent or your glove.

If I'm the one you're fighting against,

Know that you cannot win

But keep trying anyway.

I hope you're up to the challenge.

If I'm the thing you're fighting with,

Know I'm ready.

We got this.

If the thing you love most is music,

Think of me as the melody.

As the symphony you can't unthink

Even when you've written me down.

Create me into a song

That you're most proud of.

I don't need you to be a poet.

Just paint me as the air you breathe

In things you cannot live without.
