Mackenzie sighed as she watched her sister load her things into the trunk of her car.
Mackenzie would have been able to escort her to be dropped off but she had school today.
She sighed again as Maddie finished putting the last of her things in the car.
"So this is it?" Mackenzie sighed.
"You make it sound like I'm going to Italy." Maddie chuckled
"Sorry. It's just I'll miss you." She sighs again for the hundredth time that morning.
"I know kenz I'll miss you too." Maddie smiled pulling her into a hug
They stayed like that for what seemed like eternity til they finally pulled away.
''ill miss you sweetie." Their Mom Melissa chocked.
"You guys, you're gonna make me cry." Maddie whined pulling them in for a hug.
After what seemed like eternity they pulled away, allowing each other some fresh oxygen.
"I promise to call everyday." Maddie sniffled, turning to her mom.
"Promise?'' Melissa asked.
"I promise.'' Maddie affirmed.
"As for you." She smiled turning to Mackenzie. "We'll text everyday okay."
"Sure." Mackenzie smiled.
"Oh and call me if you uh, you know need anything." Maddie winked.
"Jesus Maddie!" Mackenzie whisper yelled.
"Hey, I'm not the one who's gonna be losing my v card to my best friend's brother." Maddie smirked, keeping her voice low.
"I finally am eager for you to leave."
"Rude." Maddie smiled sticking out her tongue.
She rushes to hug her mom, then Mackenzie before she drives away.
Mackenzie rushes inside the house to grab her backpack before leaving for school.
She is at her locker shoving in her things when her friend approach her.
"Why the long face?" Nadia asked.
"Maddie left for college this morning.'' she explained.
"Don't worry, how about we have a sleepover at mine tonight." Lauren chirped and they all agreed.
Mackenzie made a mental note to send her mom a text later, to get her permission.
When the last bell of the day had been rung Mackenzie was beyond relieved. Her joy was soon cut short when she remembered she had detention.
She got up from her seat and started to walk to her locker.
"Why is Johnny such an asshole." She thought out loud, as she was shoving things in her locker.
"You think I'm an asshole?" She heard a voice say.
The voice startled her, causing her to slam her locker shut.
"What do you want?" She hissed, when she saw Johnny standing beside her.
She didn't even give him the chance to talk. She just hurriedly walked towards detention.
Unluckily for her, he followed.
He spun her around pinning her against the wall, using one of his hands to support him.
"You never answered my question." He whispered, his hot breath fanning her face.
"Yes."she answered firmly, staring straight into his eyes.
