A ray of light poked through MacKenzie's window, waking her up from her sleep. She groaned as the memories of last night washed over her.

Her head was pounding, and the blinding light from outside made her eyes burn. She shouldn't have drank so much alcohol last night, but that was the only thing that seemed sensible at the moment.

She groaned and rubbed her eyes, reaching over to her bedside table, grabbing her phone.

She nearly had a heart attack when she saw the date.

It was Monday, which meant today she would be officially graduating highschool today.

She dashed out of her bed and hurriedly showered, before throwing on the required black skirt, and white long sleeve dress shirt. She threw on her shoes and touched up her makeup, leaving her hair to fall loosely.

She decided to with a simple gold watch, and simple gold tear drop earrings. A thin necklace with a small round pendant graced her neck, just resting on her throat.

She grabbed her phone, graduation gown, and cap, and raced downstairs.

"Maddie!" She yelled, as she reached the living room.

"What?" Maddie yelled back from the dinning room.

"I need you to drive me to graduation." Mackenzie whined, "hurry up before I'm late!"

"Just take your car." Maddie groaned.

"I don't have a car." Mackenzie stated in a duh tone, checking her watch.

"Oh, I was supposed to tell you yesterday." Maddie chuckled.

"Tell me what?" Mackenzie asked agitatedly.

"Mom and I got you a car!" Maddie squealed.

"What? Are you serious?" Mackenzie shrieked.

"Yeah, it's in the garage." Maddie nodded, dragging Mackenzie outside.

"Open it so I can see." Mackenzie said excitedly, jumping up and down.

"Close your eyes." Maddie told her, and Mackenzie closed her eyes, then she put her hands over her eyes too.

Maddie led Mackenzie into the garage, and inside it was a BMW X6, the 2019 model.

"Holy fuck!" Mackenzie yelled, running over to hug the car, throwing her graduation things on the hood.

"I'm guessing you like it." Maddie grinned.

"Like it? I fucking love it!"

"Mom has the keys, so I suggest you ask her for them if you don't want to be late." Maddie laughed, as Mackenzie kissed the hood of the car.

"Oh, right." Mackenzie nodded, racing back inside.

"Mom!" She yelled, as she got inside the house.

"Stop yelling, Mackenzie." Her mother said firmly, covering her ears with her hands.

"Sorry." Mackenzie mumbled, her sheepish smile never leaving her face.

"Is there something you want?" Her mother asked.

"What? Oh, I came to ask for the keys to my new car." Mackenzie sang, her smile growing even wider.

"Here you go." Her mother smiled, handing the keys to mackenzie.

Mackenzie ran into her mother's arms, hugging her tightly.

"Thank you so much." She mumbled into her mother's shoulder.

"My pleasure, darling." Her mother laughed, Patting her back softly.

"I love you, mom, so much." Mackenzie chocked, fiddling with her car keys.
