Mackenzie wasn't sure what the time was but she knew it was pretty late. She grabbed her phone and checked the time. It was 2:00am.

She groaned and pushed herself out of her sleeping bag. She stepped over Nadia and Lauren, making her way to the door.

She opened the door gently, trying not to wake her friends after shutting the door she let out a sigh of relief.

She tiptoed downstairs and went to the pool. She sat down by the pools edge, letting her feet dangle into the water.

Her mind just kept drifting to what had happened with Johnny the previous day(a/n: it's the next day 'cause it's 2:00am duh)

"Mind if I join you?" She heard a familiar voice say.

She whipped her head around to find Johnny standing behind her. He was only wearing a pair of black Nike shorts.

"Sure." She muttered, staring at her lap.

"Why are you out here?" He asked.

"Couldn't sleep." She answered, "what are you out here?" She asked, her eyes never leaving her lap.

"I don't know, I couldn't sleep I guess." He mumbled.

"Oh." She whispered, still staring at her lap.

A few moments of silence passed and Mackenzie was starting to feel uncomfortable.

"The water looks nice." Johnny finally said.

"What?" Mackenzie asked, a puzzled look on her face.

"I said the water looks nice." He repeated, kicking his legs and splashing some water on her.

"Stop it." She groaned, "you'll get me all wet."

"That's the plan." He smiled and splashed water all over her.

"Oh no you didn't." She yelped and splashed water all over him.

Soon they were drenched in water and had created a huge mess by the pool.

"I'm so wet." Mackenzie giggled, wringing her soaked t-shirt.

"Did I make you wet?" Johnny smirked.

"You perv." She shrieked and pushed him into the pool.

After about five minutes he still hadn't resurfaced.

"John?" She called, taking a step closer.

"Johnny?" She called again, this time kneeling by the edge of the pool and peering inside.

She let out a loud shriek when she felt a pair of arms pulling her into the water.

She quickly scrambled out of the pool, her hair stuck to her back and her clothes even soggier than before.

"You nearly gave me a heart attack!!" She screeched.

"Was it when you thought I'd drowned or when I dragged you in here." He laughed.

"Both." She yelled, her heart still racing.

"Jump in." He yelled.

"Are you insane!" She yelled back, "I'm not getting in there with you, not after you just gave me the scare of my life."

"Pretty please," he begged, "I'll be nice."

"Fine." She groaned, finally giving in.

She pulled her shirt over her head and discarded it on the floor, then shimmied out of her shorts and placed the discarded clothing in a neat pile.
