Mackenzie yawned and sighed. She looked at her clock and saw it was 8 am. She needed to be in school in an hour.
"I fucking hate you Orlando." She mumbled to herself.
Did she really hate him?She brushed the thought out of her mind and went to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth, took a quick shower then proceeded to get dressed.
She settled for faded blue skinny jeans, a light blue crop top and white sneakers.
She took Lauren's advice and decided to wear something bright. She wore a pair of black flats, grabbed her backpack and headed downstairs.
She was quietly munching on her cereal when she heard a knock on the door.
She groaned as she got up to see who it was.
"Oh hey Lauren." She smiled, "and Johnny?" She said confusedly.
"Why is he here?" Mackenzie asked.
"My keys got seized and my parents are in Italy remember," Lauren pointed out in a duh tone.
"Whatever." Mackenzie sighed, following Lauren to Johnny's car.
"I'll sit at the back." Lauren announced, winking at Mackenzie.
Mackenzie rolled her eyes, before climbing into the front seat.
"Hey Ziegler." Johnny smiled.
"Hey." She mumbled, avoiding direct eye contact.
When they pulled into the schools parking lot, Mackenzie was more than glad to get out of the car.
"Sup bitches." Nadia grinned as they walked in.
"Hey Nads." Lauren smiled.
"Hey." Mackenzie said, also smiling.
"Quiet down." Miss Simms said, as she walked into the class.
"No one was talking." Hayden said.
"Doesn't matter." She snapped.
"Someone's on her period." Annie whispered to Hayden, causing him to laugh.
"What's so funny Summerall?" Miss Simms asked.
"Um nothing ma'am." He replied.
"Then be quiet." She said rolling her eyes.
"Now you know the routine, I'll be back by three."
"Three?" Mackenzie gasped loudly.
"Yes miss Ziegler, do you have a problem with that?" Miss Simms asked.
"She's new." Will answered.
"Oh. Well Mackenzie, Saturday detention ends at 3pm." And with that she left.
"I fucking hate you right now Orlando." Mackenzie sighed.
"Is that so?" He cried in an enthusiastic tone, making her roll her eyes.
"Stop flirting so we can get outta here." Darius sighed, getting up.
"How does our flir- arguing have anything to do with what time we leave?" Mackenzie asked, obviously confused.
"We're breaking out of here sweetheart." Johnny smiled heading towards the window."
"We can't break out, we'll get caught." Mackenzie panicked.
"Chill." Johnny chuckled. "It's Saturday detention tradition."
"Yeah, we sneak out, then sneak back in before Simms gets back." Lauren added.
