The next day at detention Mackenzie couldn't help but feel giddy, as her sister's words replayed in her head.

She just hoped that things wouldn't go downhill.

As soon as Miss Simms left and locked the door behind her, everyone was seated in a circle.

Mackenzie made sure she sat across from Johnny in order for her plan to work.

As she sat down she made sure to lock eyes with Johnny. She bit her lip and e her eyes flit around his face before resting on his lips. She ran her tongue over her bottom lip before looking away.

She stole a quick glance at him and noticed that his cheeks were flushed.

She smiled to herself gleefully. Her plan, or rather Maddie's plan was working.

When it finally reached her turn she took a deep breath before speaking.

"Johnny," she began, "truth or dare?"

"Dare." He answered confidently.

Mackenzie smiled inwardly. It was time to carry out the next phase of the plan.

"I dare you to kiss me." She said boldly, her eyes never leaving his.

A roar of ooh's and ah's erupted instantly.

The look on Johnny's face was a mixture of confusion, amusement and pure shock.

"Are you going to kiss me, or just sit there and stare at me." Mackenzie teased inching forward towards him.

She noticed him gulp and she smiled satisfactorily to herself. Could this get any better.

He inched closer to her as their lips connected. She felt his hand squeeze her thigh making her whimper, but no one heard it.

She remembered what Maddie had told her and ran her tongue along his bottom lip, making him moan as he deepened the kiss.

"That's enough you two." Lauren shouted as she pulled Mackenzie away.

The game continued and no one said a word about what had just happened. Mackenzie knew that Lauren would want an explanation, while Nadia and Annie would hound her for the details.

When they all the jingling of the door they all scurried back to their seats.
When the door was opened, they picked up their things and started leaving.

"Hope you had fun Ziegler." Johnny whispered softly in MacKenzie's ear, his breath fanning the back of her neck. "I know I did." He smirked and left without giving her the chance to answer.

Mackenzie just stood there dumbfounded, staring at the spot where he had been standing only seconds ago.

"We need to talk." She heard Lauren say from behind her.

She sighed inwardly. She knew that this was coming.

"Um sure." She answered nervously, staring at her hands.

"Why did you kiss Johnny?" Lauren asked, her hands in her hips.

"I don't know," Mackenzie answered shyly, "I just felt like."

"Well I think you guys would be cute together, it's just I wish you would have told me."

"What?" Mackenzie asked, finally looking up. "You actually think that."

"Yeah, but I hope you know my brothers sort of a..." She trailed off.

"Player," Mackenzie finished for her.

"Yeah, that." She answerf.

"It was just a kiss Lauren." Mackenzie told her, "I don't like your brother."

"Yeah right." Lauren told her, rolling her eyes. "You guys totally like each other."

"How would you know?" Mackenzie asked.

"I have a gift." Lauren answerd, shrugging.

"A gift?" Mackenzie scoffed.

"Yes." Nadia answers.

"How do you know?" Mackenzie asked her, as they start walking outside the school.

"Because she was the first person to know that I liked Hayden." Annie answered.

"That doesn't mean anything." Mackenzie argued.

"She was also the first to know when I liked Darius." Nadia said.

"So what?" Mackenzie said, clearly in no mood to admit it.

"So, I have a gift." Lauren smiled. "It's okay to be jealous." Lauren giggled.

"Why would I be jealous of such a useless "talent"" Mackenzie scoffed, putting air quotes around the word talent.

"Well I'm offended." Lauren said in mock horror and they all laughed.

When Mackenzie reached her house, she waved her friends good bye and stepped inside.

She raced upstairs to her sister's room to find her packing.

"Hey." She smiled, when she saw Mackenzie.

"Hey." Mackenzie answered. "You're leaving tomorrow."

"Yeah." Maddie sighed. "Will you be okay."

"Yeah." Mackenzie nodded "your plan worked by the way," she smiled.

"Spill." Maddie shrieked, sitting down on the bed beside Mackenzie.

"Well it was nice." Mackenzie stated innocently.

"Nice is not enough." Maddie laughed. "I need details."

"Don't be gross Maddie." Mackenzie joked.

"Whatever, just tell me already."

"Fine." Mackenzie giggled.

"The kiss was heavenly. We basically made out for like two minutes." She smiled.

"Mackenzie Frances Ziegler." Her sister chided playfully. "My baby sister is no longer pure."

"Courtesy of the most unpurest soul in the planet." Mackenzie smiled rolling her eyes.

"Unpurest isn't a word." Maddie stated which earned her a shove from Mackenzie.

The next minute they were hurling clothes at each other and laughing hysterically. Finally they calmed down and both lay down on the floor panting heavily.

"I'm gonna miss you a lot." Mackenzie sighed.

"Don't worry, I'll call and we'll text everyday." Maddie answered.

"Yeah. I'd better go take a shower." Mackenzie giggled, getting up.

"Yeah, you're a mess." Maddie smiled.

"So are you." Mackenzie giggled and hurled a shirt at her and it hit her square in the face.

"I'll get you for that.'' Maddie shrieked, grabbing a shirt to throw at her, but she skillfully dodged.

"Haha." Mackenzie laughed, sticking out her tongue and quickly fled when she noticed Maddie grabbing a boot.

"I'll get you." Maddie yelled.

"In your dreams." Mackenzie yelled back
