When Mackenzie got home, her mom was not at all pleased with her getting detention. Luckily for her she didn't get grounded, as her mother already found her week long detention with Saturday included enough punishment.

Mackenzie lay on her bed staring up at the ceiling. Why did Johnny have to be such an asshole. Now thanks to him she would coming home by 4pm because of detention.

The vibration of her phone in her pocket pulled her out of her train of thoughts. She looked at her phone and saw a text from Lauren.

The next day at detention Mackenzie was dreading seeing Johnny. She was feeling happy when it was ten minutes into the time and he was nowhere to be seen. Alas, her joy was cut short when he sauntered in like he owned the place.

"Yay."  she sighed waving her hands sarcastically.

"Hey Ziegler." He smiled, taking the seat behind her.

"Leave her alone you fucktard." Lauren said rolling her eyes dramatically.

"I was just talking to her." Johnny smiled, "right Ziegler?"

"I'd appreciate it if you'd stop calling me Ziegler an call me Kenzie or Kenz or even Mackenzie." She groand.

"Sure thing Ziegler." He smiled, reaching out to pat her head but she quickly thwacked his hand.
