The next morning Mackenzie was extremely nervous.
"What if I fail." She gasped suddenly, starting to panic as they were standing outside.
"I won't go to college and then I won't be able to get a decent job, I'll become homeless, start dealing drugs become a crack addict and then die from an overdose in some stinky alley." She screamed, clutching her hair.
"Chill." Johnny chuckled walking up to her. "You're going to go bald if you don't stop." He said calmly, easing her hands away from her hair.
"Sorry." She mumbled, "I'm just stressed."
"We all are Kenz." Johnny sighed, wrapping his arms around her.
"Yeah, but you all don't have to be valedictorian and go to Stanford." She yelled.
"Calm down." Will said.
"Sorry, this all just getting me riled up." Mackenzie sighed.
"Well you need to chill." Nadia said placing her hand in MacKenzie's shoulder. "Now we need to get to school or we'll be late." She yelled.
"How do you feel." Johnny smiled as Mackenzie approached him in the parking lot, after school.
"Good actually," she smiled, wrapping her arms around him.
"See, you have nothing to worry about." He told her, kissing the top of her forehead.
"So?" She asked as they climbed into his car.
"So what?" He asked, a confused look on his face.
"How was it for you." She sighed, "how do you feel."
"Oh. I actually feel really good." He answered.
"Well of course you do, I'm a genius and I helped you study." She smiled, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
"You also looks really gorgeous right now." He smiled tucking a strand of her hair behind her ears, before smashing his lips against hers.
"Johnny," she managed to to mumbled through the kiss.
"Hm." He hummed.
"We're still in the parking lot." She giggled pushing him away.
"Fine." He mumbled starting the car.
"Calm down Orlando." She chuckled rolling down the window.
"Easy for you to say, you're not the one being teased with those shorts."
"Aww, I'm sorry, but you're just going to have to wait." She smiled.
"We always get interrupted Mackenzie, I don't know how long I can wait."
"Patience is a virtue." She sang.
"Shut up." He huffed, making her laugh.
"I love you." She smiled as they reached her house.
"I love you too." He said kissing her briefly, before she climbed out.
Mackenzie raced to her room and whipped her phone out.
"Come on, come on." She mumbled as the phone rang.
"Hey." Maddie greeted her.
"Hey Mads, this is important." She told her.
"Okay, what's up." Maddie asked her.
"Johnny and I errr did something in my room."Mackenzie mumbled.
"Oh my god!" Maddie screamed, "my baby is no longer a virgin."
"I'm still a virgin Maddie." Mackenzie laughed rolling her eyes.
"Oh, so what did you guys do then?" She asked.
"All I'll say it the word ice-cream." Mackenzie giggled.
"Did he ahem." Maddie coughed.
"Yes Madison, he tasted me." Mackenzie said chuckling.
"Shit Kenz, close your legs and open a Bible." Maddie laughed.
"Shut up."
"So, when are y'all gonna do it?" Maddie asked.
"I don't know, I'm not ready yet." She mumbled.
"It's okay, just chill till you're ready." Maddie told her.
"Thanks."
"Sure."
"Hey Mads?" Mackenzie called.
"Hm?"
"We've been saying I love you.", Mackenzie told her.
"Damn Kenzie, I've really missed a lot." Maddie squealed. "Was mom home when you guys you know?" Maddie asked.
"Hell no." Mackenzie yelled, "do you think I'd be standing if she were."
"Good point."
"Yeah." Mackenzie said, flopping onto her bed.
"I love you." Maddie told her.
"I love you too." Mackenzie answered.
"Bye."
"Bye." Mackenzie answered, before hanging up.
She dropped her phone beside her, but picked it up when she felt it vibrate.
It was a text from her mom.
"I'll be home in an hour sweetie" the text read.
"I'd better go take a shower." She said to herself.
