"I ordered you a hangover soup. Come here," Jimin said as soon as he saw Jungkook. He looked even adorable with his messy hair and flushed face in the morning.

Jungkook perked at the smell of food, Taehyung unwrapped and wordlessly strode to the couch dropping beside him. Jimin grabbed three bottles of water before sitting cross-legged on the floor. They served themselves in silence and Jungkook immediately began to dig in, a contented moan leaving his mouth.

They continued to eat in silence before Taehyung spoke, "Minnie, where did you park the car? I didn't see it outside."

Jimin froze for a moment, his spoon lifted halfway to his mouth. Minnie...There was that word again. His two-storey building didn't have a dedicated parking lot. The residents usually parked in front of their home, wherever they found space.

"I...didn't drive last night," Jimin said. "After you left I ran into a few guests and ended up having a few shots," he lied smoothly not wanting to raise suspicion. "We took a taxi home."

"Oh." Taehyung didn't push further.

"I...I'm sorry for the trouble last night," Jungkook said. "I usually have a driver, but Geonu's wife is in hospital, so I gave him off this week."

"Is she alright?" Jimin lifted a brow.

"She's pregnant and is expected to give birth this week," Taehyung said.

"That's sweet of you," Jimin admitted. Jungkook really cared for his employees. First, Jasmine and now Geonu. At the moment, Jimin felt grateful to work for someone like Jungkook. "You were no trouble last night," he said. "I don't remember the last time a guy used me as a human plushy."

Red tainted Jungkook's cheeks and he averted his gaze to his food, chewing at his lips. Taehyung on the other hand stared between them with his mouth agape.

"I...I'm..." Jungkook blinked.

"If anything, you called me hot, kissed me a few times, and hugged the life out of me," Jimin teased.

Taehyung sputtered. "You kissed him?" His eyes bugged as he glared at his friend.

Jungkook sunk into the couch. "I...I'm really sorry," he mumbled, fiddling with his chopsticks. "I didn't mean too..." He looked adorable.

Jimin burst out laughing. "Relax, Mr. Jeon. I was just joking about the kiss." But his own cheeks heated up at the memory of Jungkook nuzzling his neck intimately. "Other parts were true."

Jungkook pursed his lips and grabbed the bowl, shoveling the food into his mouth while Taehyung looked at him incredulously.

"Sorry...couldn't help it," Jimin smiled and continued to eat. An awkward silence filled the living room after that and Jungkook didn't lift his head at all. Did he push it too far? He just wanted to lighten up the mood. It didn't take long before they finished the food and Taehyung helped cleaning. Jungkook didn't move or speak a word.

Ten minutes later, Jimin flicked the TV off, sunk into the couch, and threw a his forearm over his eyes. He was alone again, only with the silence to accompany him.

Life had been anything but perfect for Jimin. The unfortunate accident that left him with selective amnesia had thrown him off the grid. His life was anything, but normal. If waking up with no memory of his own name wasn't enough, it hurt more to know no one ever came looking for him.

The doctors said it was a miracle he survived, but Jimin saw no point in their claim. What was the use of living on when you had no purpose? He had no one.

Oh, what he would give just to have a few friends to hang out with and talk nonsense. He had Hoseok, but he was too far away and too busy. His doctor encouraged him to make friends and start dating. It was easier said than done though.
