When Thursday rolled in Jimin was ready to throw hands on the so-called chairman asshole of the Jeon Corporation. The old man's snide remarks and subtle show of disgust every time they met didn't go unnoticed. Soon, it was the talk among the employees.

Some pitied him and as for the rest, it was entertaining to watch the chairman of the company going for a mere employee's throat at every instance. It was so unlike Jungwoo from what Jimin learned. The chairman never lost his composure and had never openly shown his disdain to anyone. But he seemed to break his own rules when it came to Jimin.

Jungkook's trip was extended and it only added to Jimin's frustration. He missed the youngest so much.

Jimin gave no fuck as to what the chairman thought of him. Jungkook was all that mattered. They barely talked with the work keeping them occupied. Organizing a corporate event in a week was a nightmare even with all the help he had. Hiring the top event organizer was a piece of cake, but some things needed his attention.

He left the guest list to Byeol and interior to Taehyung who had a keen eye for the latest trends. As he forced another bite of the dessert, he grimaced internally. Not that it didn't taste good. It was delicious with a good texture that was pleasing to both eyes and taste buds. But he tasted too many items in the past hour that he felt like his taste buds had gone numb.

With a sigh, he pushed the plate aside. He quickly went through his notes and finalized the dishes before having a short conversation with the chef. He came highly recommended by Seokjin. His doctor hyung was one of the greatest food enthusiasts and his choices could never go wrong. So, he trusted the chef and was finally relieved now that the catering was taken care of.

Knowing how Jungwoo was, he might be looking for a chance to find a hole to bury Jimin. A lot of things could go wrong, starting from the guest lists. His blood had boiled when Byeol texted him that morning with urgency, she never showed before. He knew the reason when he saw the newly added names on the list—Yuna, Eunji, and Sungmin's daughter, Minah.

"I swear he's out for my blood, Tae!" he'd bellowed in his office. Taehyung had to hold him down with a bear hug for good thirty-minutes to calm him down.

"This was supposed to be our partners and close associates," Jimin had hissed.

"I received the new list this morning." Byeol worried her lip with an apologetic as she looked between them. "There are a few other celebrities too, mostly women."

"Another shit show," Jimin muttered under his breath.

"Go ahead and send them invites," Taehyung told her. "I've already invited Namjoon hyung and Seokjin hyung. Between us, we can handle this Minnie. Yuna or Eunji...no one can do shit."

"And don't forget to bring that girlfriend of yours Jimin-ssi," Byeol reminded him. "I think we can guess why you-know-who invited Eunji-ssi," disdain dripped from her voice. "He just needs a reason to fire you and he expects drama."

Because his history with both Yuna and Eunji wasn't good. Jimin respected women, but these two happen to rub him the wrong way. Yuna was just a woman who wants to dig her claws into his Jungkook while Eunji was a woman who tore apart their relationship. He didn't have anything against Sungmin's daughter and he knew how to handle her if she was to make a move.

Jimin's face had tightened with determination when he straightened. "He wants drama? I'll give him one." When he looked at Taehyung with a devilish smirk, his friend quirked a brow. "I'm sure noonas can spare a day to attend the party. What do you think?"
