A week passed too quickly for Jimin's liking. Jungkook's old man had dumped another territory on his son. Jungkook who was in charge of the operations for Korea and Japan, now ended up handling China, which was a much bigger market for Jeon Corporation.

With the amount of work piling up, Jimin didn't know how long the youngest could go like this. The transition hadn't been kind on Jungkook, but he always took it as a challenge and worked harder. So, Jimin found himself working alone on Jungkook's life project, which was moving slower than usual because of their tight schedule.

He still didn't know who the client was or who Jungkook was meeting. He just knew the meeting was on a Monday. But considering they worked even on the weekends, Jimin ended up staying all night to finish the proposal and he was running late.

Hoseok was coming home this morning. Jimin badly wanted to receive him at the airport but couldn't make it because of the work. He had called and apologized to his hyung several times, who had just laughed and told him he too had an important meeting and will see him in the evening.

Now as Jimin walked down the street to get to the main road, where he could take a taxi to work his mind was racing. He hoped they had enough time to review the proposal before Jungkook headed to the meeting. He couldn't send it over to him via email because their emails were monitored.

From what Jimin gathered, it was a business proposal. Jungkook wanted to start something independent and away from his father's control. The amount of work Jungkook put into this amazed him. That was huge. Jimin felt the pressure both from the importance of the proposal and Jungkook's blind trust in him. It wasn't like Jimin was going to betray him, but how could Jungkook put his trust in him like that? For all he knows, Jimin could have changed. Six years was a long time, sure he spent most of the first year in a hospital bed in and out of consciousness.

Jimin's mind was preoccupied as he mentally jotted down the points that he wanted to relay into Jungkook this morning when he heard it. He was still in the sidewalk, a few feet shy of the garbage truck that was unloading trash. Before he knew what was happening, something crashed into him, sending him spiraling across the sidewalk.

"What do you mean we have only thirty minutes?" Jungkook hissed under his breath. How was he going to pitch the two-hour-long conversation in just thirty minutes?

He paced his office like a wounded tiger, grumbling and growling under his breath. Jung Hoseok was a tough cookie. He knew that from the beginning. The man had refused to meet him outside in a hotel or a restaurant as they requested. His secretary had informed Jungkook that their boss would decide the meeting place upon his arrival. Jungkook behaved like he was walking on sizzling hot water from the moment he received the call that morning saying Jung Hoseok will meet Jungkook in his office.

Fuck.

It was something Jungkook tried to avoid. If Hoseok were to come to Jeon building, the news would spread like wildfire and his father would find out. Though Jung Hoseok wasn't their business rival, he was an intimidating figure in the business industry, well-known for his not-so-friendly and cocky attitude.

Like Jungkook the man had inherited the business from his father. But unlike Jungkook's father who controlled his every move, Hoseok's dad had retired and moved to Gwangju with his wife to spend his retirement in peace. Hoseok three-years older than him had been trained to take over the business from when he turned eighteen had taken the industry by storm.

Two years ago when JH Inc. stepped their foot into the western market, the entire industry was watching his every move with bated breath. Let's say the JH Inc. had climbed a solid hundred ranks in the Forbes five-hundred list in those two years. That was a massive growth for any company.
