We found Della's house around the time the sun fully went down and the moon had arisen into the sky.
Benny and I had parked our bikes just outside of her fence, hiding them in the bushes just a little bit so they didn't get stolen or recognized.
Benny crawled over her fence and into her backyard. I attempted to do the same, and we all know how that turned out. I fell off the fence trying to get over it.
I landed on my back, the fall knocking the wind out of me, "Owww..." I groaned and let out a cough.
Benny held out a hand to help me up and I kindly accepted it and grabbed onto his hand, him pulling me up and onto my feet. I brushed the grass off of my clothing and followed Benny around one of the many bushes.
Benny started whistling, "Here, dead dog," He called out in a soft voice, his voice cracking. Benny's eyes flickered all over the lawn as he looked, he continued to whistle during his search, his eyes eventually landing on something in the garden. He let out a low whistle, as he kneeled to the ground, "Beloved Puffles; In Loving Memory," He read from the sign, "Bingo!" Benny said, in a rough voice.
"Great. You found the dog," I said to Benny, "now hurry up before we get caught or something," I ushered him, crossing my arms.
My eyes shot around Della's backyard, keeping a lookout while Benny dug his hand into his messenger bag and grabbed the resurrection potion, unscrewing the lid on it, hurriedly, "I have an afterlife wake-up call," He began, "for one Puffles, the dead dog," Benny said, pouring the potion over Puffles's grave.
He closed the lid on the potion and raised an eyebrow, watching as the glowing green liquid seeped into the dirt.
"Did it-," I was getting ready to ask before a loud thud landed beside us, making Benny and I jump, me tripping backward and falling on the ground.
Benny toppled over backward just as Ethan landed on the ground on his stomach.
"Wait," Ethan said to Benny, as he sat around on the ground in discomfort from just being dropped from the sky.
Benny sat back up, panting, "Ethan, do not sneak up on a dude who's awakening the dead," He warned.
"Keep it down," Ethan told him, "Let's go before you do something stupid," He said, grabbing onto his shirt, trying to put some sense into his head, "I mean, more stupid," Ethan added.
I got up off the ground and sat next to the two boys.
"Too late. I already did," Benny told him, sighing disappointingly.
"Nothing happened, so-," I was telling him, until another certain someone fell out of the sky, just like Ethan.
