I sighed as I helped Sarah pry parts of my fence out of the ground with crowbars, us throwing the pieces of fence at Benny and Ethan while they caught them.

After we were done with taking apart my backyard fence so we could use the wood from it as wooden stakes, we set up a training area in my backyard so there would be no mistakes when trying to kill vampires. I can't for sure say how many times I had to watch Ethan trip over a barrel of hay trying to hit the makeshift vampire we created out of a mop, some sunglasses, and my dad's old suit jacket. But, once he finally got it, it was time to practice with the nerf guns.

We were planning to fill the nerf bullets with tiny wooden stakes, but, for now, we were just practicing with just bullets to not waste any of the resources we had.

Me and Benny went back to back with the nerf guns shooting at the dummy. I giggled as I got the dummy in the chest and Benny high-fived me. It was kind of fun, to be completely honest.

We each took turns doing this for a while, doing some other training exercises in the process, and even stopping for a break to go get more Holy Water from the church.

I watched as Benny and Ethan lugged GALLONS of Holy Water back and forth through my backyard for almost four hours and set them down, me and Sarah having to fill the water guns full.

It was almost time for the Dusk III premier and I was helping Ethan make wooden stakes out of smaller pencils, helping him stick them inside the nerf bullets.

We were halfway done when Ethan's little sister,
Jane decided to come into his room.

"Hey, Ethan!" She called, opening his bedroom door and stepping into his room, "Whatcha doin'?" Jane asked, closing the door behind her.

"Jane, have you ever heard of privacy?" Ethan asked her, as she sat next to me on his bed.

Jane picked up Ethan's nerf gun from his bed, "What did you do to your blaster?" She wondered, putting it back down and instead, reaching over and grabbing one of the pencils. She took one of the pencils out of the nerf bullet and looked at Ethan, "What?" She asked.

"Just put them down, okay?" Ethan said, taking it out of her hand and putting it down in the pile of them, "It's for a project. For school," He lied, picking up one of the pencils and sticking it in his bullet holder.

"Look," Jane started, "you know how this works: either you tell me, or I tell mom everything that happened last week," She said. I looked at her and then looked at Ethan, "Everything," Jane said.

"Oh, fine!" Ethan said, "Benny, Ophelia, and I are going to that new vampire movie thing tonight," He told her the truth. Jane had a smile on her face as she was about to say something but got interrupted by Ethan, "And no, you can't go," Ethan told her, making Jane sigh and her smile fades, "It's after your bedtime and it's rated PG."
