Bullets' POV

I fidgeted anxiously, waiting.

"Is-"

"No Spot isn't here yet." Tomcat groans. "There are more important things than Spot Conlons. This rally is purely for da purpose of spittin out ideas. Didn't you have some of your own?"

"Only if it's not already mentioned." I admit shortly.

"Well what are they?" He asks.

"That it is our job as newsies, to inform the city, not soak it. Therefor I think we need more coverage, and less violence."

"That's great! Will ya say that?" I just brush my hair from my face and reply,

"If it's necessary."

"I've had just as much of your irrationality as I can take alone. Let's see Spades and Racer huh?" He asks hopefully, to which I groan.

"We can't see them until the meeting's over."

"Fine then just practice what you're gonna say." He gives up.

Spades' POV

"Sure youse is feelin ok." Race sarcastically agrees.

"I am!" I whine, to which he just rolls his eyes,

"Ya look like you could blackout if I adjusted my position." He had been lettin me lean on him for support eva since Jacobi's. I hate feelin dis vulnerable. I hate relyin on people.

"If I could survive a highly choreographed dance numba, I can get up on a stage and say a speech." I state.

"Ya didn't even do da dance break!"

"I don't tap." I shrug.

"Not like I can." He agrees smugly.

"Well youse singin ain't exactly of mine's quality." I shoot back. Wes is about ta start up anudda "respectful" argument until we hear,

"Newsies need our help today!"

Dis'll be fun.

"Newsies need our help today!"

"Tell 'em BROOKLYN'S on da way."

"Tell 'em BROOKLYN'S on da way."

"We're from _"

"Brooklyn."

"We are _"

"Newsies."

"We are Brooklyn _"

"NEWSIES!!!" They's is all sing togetha, headed towards the rally, us Manhattan newsies. Jack's ain't here yet, so Davey lead us ta da rally, little does he know what knowledge in da hands of da public can inflict.

"Just got woid dat our buddies is hoitin!
Facin total disasta for certain
Dats our que boys it's time ta go slummin!
Hey Manhattan da calvaries comin

"Have no fear"

"Ya know we got your back from way back" half of them sing.

"Brooklyn's here" the odda half sings. They seem ta have split themselves in half and are now doin a call and response type thing.

"We'll get your payback wit some"

"PAYBACK" they join back together. "We're da boys from da beaches of brighten,
prospect park and da navy yard pier.
Strikes ain't fun but dey sure is excitin!
Loud and clear
Brooklyn's here!" Spot den starts an "emotional" solo.
