Beep, beep, beep.

I reach over and turn off my blaring alarm. I groan as I sit up and stretch. Today was my first day at the BAU and I rush to get on my tank top and leggings on for my morning jog before work.

I slip on my Nike's and throw my hair in a tight pony tail. I grab a water bottle and head out of my cramped apartment.

I begin the jog at the park. I wasn't paying much attention to my surroundings and I trip, scraping my hands and knees. Cursing under my breath, I feel a presence behind me.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. Here," the black haired man said, holding out his hand.

I take his hand and he helps me up off the sidewalk. He looks me up and down as I wipe any dirt I had on me off.

"Uh, I'm Aaron Hotchner. Nice to meet you," The tall man shakes my hand and I smile at him.

"I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you too," I say in return.

"You should put some peroxide on those scrapes," Aaron says, looking at my hand. I can feel my face get hot as I shake my head.

"I should be fine. I have to hurry and get to work soon anyway." I say.

Aaron responds, "Me too, honestly I might be running a little behind but right now, it's worth it."

I stared at him a bit confused and asked, "Why is that?"

He laughed heartily and pointed at me, "Running into a pretty person like you doesn't come often.."

I blushed. Hard. No way, this hot guy just called me pretty.

My face gives a response but my mouth doesn't so Aaron begins to speak again.

"Hey, so, it's been great meeting you, but I am going to have to go. Hopefully I see you on another jog in the future," he smirks, knowing he made me go red faced.

"Okay, see you!" I wave, goodbye.

"See you?" Did I just say "see you," to Aaron and just hope to see him again? Absolutely not.

I'm not entirely sure what washed over me, I just didn't want to miss my shot so I quickly shouted, "Hey!" to get an already jogging Aaron's attention.

Aaron stops in his tracks and turns back around, puzzled.

"Here's my number though, I would love to see you again sooner than another jog," I blush, handing him my old buisness card.

"Will do. I'll call you when I can," Aaron turns around, continuing to jog the opposite way I need to go.

I have never gave a guy my number before. I'm surprised it went that well.

I jog my way home, excited for Aaron's call and hurriedly get ready for work. Wearing a black pants suit with a white t-shirt, I drive to work.

I get into the parking lot and rush into work, excited to meet my new coworkers.

Walking in, I notice a black haired woman in the kitchen area getting coffee.

"Hey, I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, but today is my first day and I need to know where to go," I say, nervously.

"Oh," the lady looks over to a closed office door with the blinds shut, "Well, the man you're supposed to see is busy with Section Chief Strauss at the moment, but he'll see you in a second. I'm Emily Prentiss, nice to meet you."

I smile and say, "Y/N," shaking her hand.

"So, what's our boss' name?" I ask.

"SSA Aaron Hotchner. We all go by last name so everyone calls him, 'Hotch,'" Emily answers. The same time she says that, Aaron walks out with an older blonde lady, I'm guessing is Strauss.

This is going to be awkward.
