We begin to fly and I sit alone, reading a magazine I brought with me. I see someone in my perifial vision sit in front of me and I look up to see Hotch.

"Hey, Hotch. What's happening?" I says, nonchalantly. I try and act cool but I ultimately embarrass myself.

What's happening? I think to myself. God, I'm stupid.

"Uh, nothing much. Just wanted to check on you. You okay? You're a little red," Hotch asks.

"I'm fine. My hands and knees are feeling better too," I laugh and he smiles.

"I'm still sorry I tripped you," Hotch says.

"You're fine, Hotch. Thanks for checking up on me," I say, and he nods, walking off.

Wow, even his walk is hot. I notice myself staring and quickly fix myself, making sure nobody noticed I was checking out my boss.

"Like what you see?" Morgan sits infront of me where Hotch was a few seconds ago.

"Excuse me?" I ask politely.

"Hotch. You like what you see?" He asks.

Absolutely, I do.

"What do you mean?" I ask, seeing if he noticed me staring.

"Well, as he walked off you kept your eye on him. You like Hotch?" His voice drops to a whisper and I giggle.

"I just met the guy today, calm down," I smile at Morgan and he nods, walking back over to Prentiss.

Wow. I need to calm down. I've only known him a day and I'm crushing hard.

I feel the plane start to descend and I grab my go-bag once we landed.

I place my magazine in the bag and I stand up straight, ready to go. We start to get off the plane and get into our vans.

Just great. I'm in the van with Hotchner.

I sit in the backseat like a loser while Reid sits in the front seat next to Hotch. Our ride is short and quiet as we pull into the sheriff's office.

"You guys must be the BAU. I'm Ken Adams, the sheriff here. I'm glad y'all were able to come down," Ken half smiles as he greets us.

"Nice to meet you too, Sheriff. I'm SSA Hotchner, this is Agent Y/F/N Y/L/N, and Doctor Reid," Aaron introduces us and Reid does his awkward wave as I shake the Sheriff's hand.

"I wouldn't have suspected you as an agent, little lady," Ken says, smiling at me, made me shiver to my core.

"Excuse me?" I say, looking at Ken, knowing well what he means.

"Well, it's just you're a pretty thing, aren't you?" Ken licks his upper lip and I hide my uncomfortableness. I go to defend myself, but Aaron steps in.

"Sheriff, she is perfectly capable to handle this case and any other case we handle. I wouldn't recommend underestimating her."

There's a hint of anger in Aaron's voice and Ken nods.

"I'll show you where to set up," Ken walks inside, all three of us following him.
