A few days later, and we still haven't found this unsub.
Aaron is calling Penelope. Everyone is exhausted and desperate to find this son of a bitch.
"Garcia, have you found anything else? Bars, jobs, can you find any correlation between these men? We're running out of time," Hotch asks immediately.
"I'm trying sir, I'll get back to you as soon as I can," Penelope answers real fast.
"Thanks, Baby Girl," Derek says before Aaron can respond, and hangs up.
Everyone begins to relook over all the evidence, asking ourselves what we're missing. A few minutes later Penelope calls again.
"What is it, Garcia?" Hotch asks.
"The three men played Poker together every Friday night at a guy named Gary Newman's house. People still go every Friday, despite three of the people gone missing," Penelope hastily tells them.
"We are going to need Gary's address," Hotch demands.
"Already on it, PG out," Penelope hangs up the phone and Hotch motions us to follow him to the van and everyone follows, excited about our new lead.
Hotch, Reid and I in one van, meet the rest of the team at Gary Newman's address and Hotch hands me a vest.
"Put this on," he says and I take it.
"Thanks," I say.
Wow, his hands are nice, I think as I struggle to put on my vest.
"You need help?" Aaron asks. I feel my face go red from embarrassment and I nod. He reaches over and does the straps on the side of my vest. His hands brush my side as he does and I try not to react.
"I promise, everyone has trouble their first time," Aaron reassures me. He must've seen that I'm flustered.
I nod, shy, and the team looks at me, waiting for me to get strapped up.
We make our way up the filthy porch to the front door, on Hotch and Morgan standing on both sides of the door. J.J., Rossi, and I next to Hotch and Reid and Prentiss next to Morgan, who bangs on the door.
"Gary Newman, FBI!" He shouts. Hotch nods to him and he kicks down the door.
We enter the house and scan different areas of the house, our weapons drawn. I reach Gary's bedroom and I freeze, looking at the massacre in front of me.
"Y/N? Clear?" Aaron says.
"Uh, no. You- you guys need to see this," I stutter. My hands get clammy, my weapon is hanging by the side of my body, no longer in front of me.
I hear foot steps behind me as I face the body of Gary on his bed, shot and stabbed just like the previous victims. I take out my gloves and put them on. I reach for his neck, searching for a pulse. I shake my head, indicating to Reid Gary is gone, so we start searching his bedroom. More profilers file into the room.
"Hey, guys, look at this," Spencer says, holding up Gary's phone.
"Recent text to Red T.: 'I'm giving Tristan his money now, I'll get back to you when I'm done.' Sent six minutes ago," He says, getting out his phone.
Spencer calls Garcia and she answers fast, "Talk to me."
"Garcia, we have a new lead."
