I look Hotch in the eyes, silently pleading him to decide against calling me over. Tension builds as he stares.
"Fine," he breaks, "We can talk later."
Yes!
I smile at him and nod, glad we don't have to talk.
We all continue to pack up and we all head to the SVUs. I rush into an SUV with Reid, causing Morgan to ride with Hotch.
"I'm glad you're trusting me to drive, nobody trusts me to drive," Spencer smiles and I look at him.
"Let's just get out of here," I say and we drive off ahead the others.
I continue to explain to Reid the Hotch situation, remembering that I forgot to finish the story and what Hotch told me in the car earlier today.
"Wow," Spencer says, pulling into the hotel parking lot.
"Just, 'Wow,'" I ask.
"That's a lot to unpack. What do you think he's going to talk to you about?" He says, parking.
"I- I don't know! I have a feeling he's going to reject me or something. I mean, he totally ignored me when I told him I liked him. And that doesn't help the fact I thought it would help get over him," I huff.
"Well, whatever he says I'll be here to talk about it," Spencer smiles getting out of the car.
I follow him inside while the others began to arrive at the hotel.
I hastily pack my stuff back in my bag when I hear a knock on my door.
Not now.
"Come in," I hesitate.
"Hey, I'm going to grab some food before we leave, want anything?" Emily says walking in.
My nerves calm down, knowing it's not Aaron as I answer her.
"No, thanks."
She nods and leaves me to bask in my anxiety for the inevitable conversation bound to come up.
I make my way down to the lobby and everyone slowly files down to wait with me.
Once everyone is here, we drive to the airports and get on the jet.
It's pretty late so I'm not surprised when I look up from my phone to find everyone asleep. I laugh silently and decide to catch up on some sleep as well.
---
I wake up, but I don't open my eyes. I hear the team talking. Specifically about me."How do you think she's handling everything?" J.J. asks.
"I don't know, she seems to be doing great, but I don't want this job to affect her too much like it does most," Spencer says.
"I think she can handle it. Yeah, she's a little introverted, but I think once we get her out of her shell, she'll one of the best," Derek says.
"What about you, Hotch? What do you think of the Y/N?" Rossi asks.
He hesitates.
"She's a great profiler, and she listens when she's in the field. I couldn't ask for a better new guy," Aaron says.
I do my best to hide my smile and I feel the plane start to descend.
I fake waking up, I've had practice in my teen years, and the team gets quiet.
"Morning," I yawn.
They all quietly tell me morning and i stand and stretch.
I sit back down so the plane can land. Once it does, I grab my stuff and walk off the plane with the rest of the team.
I get to my car and drive silently home.
My anxiety worsens. Why does he need to talk to me? When is he going to? How is this going to affect my job?
Thoughts flood my head as I open my apartment door and sit on my couch.
I sit there having the sudden urge to cry when I hear a knock on my door.
I open it to find Hotch.
"Hey-" I go to greet him but he interrupts me.
"We need to talk. What I did was wrong and I know that," Aaron says and I nod.
"Okay, go on," I mess with my fingers avoiding his gaze.
"You still like me, Y/N?" Aaron asks, almost shy.
"Yeah, I do. Are you here to rub it in my face?" I say agitated.
"What? No! You remember what you and Reid profiled about me?" He asks.
"How could I forget. It gave me hope that you actually liked me back," I sigh.
I twiddle my thumbs just for a bit.
I realized he wasn't speaking, just looking at me. I look up at him.
"What? Did you come here to just stare at me?" I ask.
"Do you not get were I was going?" He asks.
I look back at my hands then back at him when realization hit me.
"You.. Like me back?" I try to hide my smile but when he nods I can't stop it.
I instinctively wrap my arms around his neck to give him a hug, knocking him off balance.
"I'm so glad you do," I smile.
"Of course I do, you're an amazing, beautiful, funny girl," Aaron says back and I hug him tighter.
"Want to continue that kiss, Y/N?" Aaron asks and I lean back.
"Of course," I lean in to his kiss.
His lips are so soft.
I kiss harder when his hands reach my lower back. We make our way to my couch and we continue to makeout there.
He reaches for the hemline on my shirt and I stop him.
"What's wrong?" Aaron asks.
"I don't want to go to fast. At least buy me dinner first," I joke and Aaron kisses me quickly, smiling.
We continue to cuddle on the couch, random TV playing in the background. I look up at Hotch, and he's asleep.
I giggle as content and sleep washes over me.
I never want this moment to end.

This is the end of Hotchner Has My Heart! I loved writing this story, and it is definitely on of my favorites. Thank you for reading and voting (if you did) and let me know if you want an epilogue. I have some ideas but I don't want to ruin the story by stretching it out.
