(Inuyasha POV)

"Alright," I picked up my tessaiga, "I'm off now." I said, walking towards the door. 

I heard slow steps behind me, "C'mon Ame, let's say bye-bye to daddy." Kagome said softly, fast steps running in front of her. 

I turned around to see Ame running towards me with his arms open wide, "Dada!" He called out while I scooped him up. "Bye-bye dada! Have good day!"

I kissed his cheek, "Bye-bye! Take care of mommy okay? My brave little man." Ame giggled and placed his tiny hands on my cheek. I placed him down on the ground and turned to Kagome. 

Kagome was about 8 months pregnant, Kaede said that our baby will be born any week now. Her belly is smaller than when she had Akiro and Ame, so we've figured that there are no twins this time, but she's barely able to move around. 

I gently placed a hand on her stomach, "Bye Kagome." I kissed the top of her forehead. 

She placed her hand over mine, "Bye. Be careful out there." 

I nodded, "Keh, you know it's always some weak demon, but I'll be careful. You should get back into bed." 

Kagome nodded, "Yes I will. I'm just waiting for Rin to get here." 

"Okay, don't push yourself. I have to go now, Miroku is probably waiting for me." I headed out. Kagome followed me behind. 

"Come back soon! Remember Koga and Ayame are coming to visit today!" Kagome shouted as I began running. 

I turned my head, "Oh right! Keh! Who cares about the scrawny wolf anyways!" I chuckled before turning to look at Miroku who was already walking out of the village. Besides him was one of the twins, Saori.

"Hey!" I greeted them. 

"Good afternoon Uncle Inuyasha!" Saori greeted me with excitement in her face. 

"I was just about to leave you behind." Miroku chuckled. I rolled my eyes as he continued, "I'm bringing Saori along. She really wanted to see us in action and actually start learning a bit of demon hunting and exorcisms. We're still not sure if she has any of my spiritual powers but she does have brute strength like her mother." 

"I've been wanting to go train with Uncle Kohaku, but my parents say I'm still too young!" She pouted.

I chuckled, "Tch! Your parents are lame. I was hunting demons way younger than you are now! If you want to do it then I say go for it!" I ruffled the top of her hair. 

Saori blushed and smiled happily. 

With that we mad our way to our job. It was quite far, so I carried Saori on my back as we ran over. "Did they tell you what kind of demon it was?" I looked over to Miroku.
