But I still manage to find a bit of time during my classes to write a bit.

Hope you guys enjoy, COMMENT, LIKE, VOTE, and SUBSCRIBE!

Love you guys!

(Inuyasha's POV)

We landed safely on the other side of the portal. I looked at Kagome who kept a tight grip on the crystal, Akiro's heart. I looked around and locked eyes on to Rui. He glared angrily, most likely pissed that we ruined his plans. But then anger in me was much greater.

I could feel the demonic energy in my sword gather up, tessaiga trampled with power. Shippo ran over, tears in his eyes. "Kagome! Inuyasha!" Kagome accepted him into her arms for an embrace.

I slowly stood up and tightly gripped on the handle of my sword as I pulled it out of its sheath. I pointed it at Rui, the rage and anger flowing out of my body.

Rui grinned, "My my, what's this? Why do you point your sword at me Inuyasha? Are you grieving over the loss of your child?" He laughed.

I charge at him, yelling, and swung my sword as the wind scar shot straight at him. A portal open up and dispersed it. I growled and charged at him with my sword, rage was blinding me and he was easily able to doge my attacks. I gasped, feeling his fit hit my gut. Rui threw me up in the air, jumped higher then I was and punched my face sending me back to hit the ground hard.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled out. I grunted and pushed myself up to my knees.

(Kagome POV)

I put down Shippo and ran over to Inuyasha. I bent down over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder. "Let me help you...the only way we can win is by doing this together." I said, softly. Inuyasha took a deep breath and nodded before standing up.

I got up and took out an arrow, lining it up with my bow and drawing it back. Inuyasha pointed tessaiga at Rui. "You're going down!" He yelled and charged at him once more, swinging his sword as the wind scar shot out again.

The moment I saw the wind scar, I shot my arrow. The energy of both attacks combined together before disappearing. Rui stood in confusion until he was hit from behind by our attack.

Rui yelled and groaned in pain, half of his body destroyed. Inuyasha ran and jumped into the air, "You're finished!" He yelled and sliced Rui in to two.

Miroku ran over, pulling out powerful sacred sutras. He threw them at the remains of Rui and they immediately disintegrated into nothing.

I took a deep breath before looking into my hand, the small crystal glimmering. Inuyasha slowly walked over and put his hand over it. "Let's go home.." he whispered. I looked down and nodded.

We all walked out of the dark underground to the raining storm outside. "Let's camp here for a bit till the rain dies down." Sango said.

~•~

It was dark outside, the rain still pouring down, but for some reason there was a small glow out in the distant. I couldn't really tell so I didn't think much of it. "Kagome?" I heard the female voice of Sango behind me.

I watched her sit down besides me. It was silent for a while, only the noise of the pouring rain and cracking fire. I let out a cold breath of air, "Sango..."

(Sango POV)

I turned over to look at Kagome, hearing my name being called. She turned to me with tears in her eyes. "Kagome..." I immediately pulled her into an embrace.

"Thank you Sango.." said Kagome before continuing, "I heard your voice. Just when I was about to wish for Akiro back, you voice came. Thank you for reminding me what's important here." She held out her hand, showing me the crystal. Kagome explained to me what it was and for the remaining of the night we stayed close together. I felt for her, seeing as I have kids of my own.

(Miroku POV)

I sat next to Inuyasha, staring at the burning fire. I didn't know what to say, or more like what was there to say. I didn't want to force Inuyasha in to talking. He needed this silence perhaps. It was what Inuyasha did best. In time he'll talk.
