(Kagome POV)

Kaede and Miroku walked over to me while Sango joined us from a distance. I bit the tip of my thumb, lost in thought before Kaede tapped my shoulder, "Kagome, ye said ye had an idea."

I nodded and turned to everyone, "Yes! Last night I was deep in thought. This sickness is the flu! It's something very common in my world and easily treatable. I'm sure it's already happened here a few times but never to this extent."

Everyone looked surprised while I continued, "Guys, remember when I got really sick and had to go back to my era to get better?"

"Oh! Yes I remember. We had just gotten leads of Naraku's whereabouts and you caught a really awful cold. Inuyasha even gathered a whole carriage full of random animals and herbs." Sango pointed out while everyone nodded, reimagining the event.

I nodded enthusiastically, "Yes! Those were ingredients! Looking back at it, even when I did go back to my world, my fever wouldn't go down at all. Then Inuyasha came, and according to my younger brother, he made this drink. It was putrid but it cured my cold completely!"

Kaede walked towards me, "Do ye know how it's made?"

I lowered my head, "No, Inuyasha wouldn't tell me. He said his mother used to make it for him using dried ingredients but he switched it to fresh ones."

Everyone gave me a sickening look, "Fresh....ingredients?" Sango mumbled, disgusted at the thought.

Miroku sucked his teeth, "It wouldn't work." Everyone turned to look at him. Miroku continued, "Even if we did know how to make, if Inuyasha used fresh ingredients, then he used animals. We don't know which of our animals are sick or not, so it's no good."

Everyone lowered their heads, deep in thought.

"Kagome! Miroku! Sango!"

We raised are heads, looking around before looking up at the sky.

Shippo came floating down, transforming back to his original form. "Shippo!" I called out as he landed besides Sango.

Shippo looked at us with tears in his eyes, "I heard what was happening and came as fast as I could! How is Inuyasha?"

I shook my head, "Not good! We were thinking of a cure right now. Inuyasha made one for me long ago but he used fresh ingredients instead of dried ones, but I have no idea how to make it!"

Rin came out to join us, "Then wouldn't it be better to call Lord Sesshomaru?"

We stared at her before smiling, "Rin! You're a genius!"

Sango, Rin and I beamed at each other. "Wait." Miroku said, interrupting our celebratory smiles, "Sesshomaru wouldn't know how to make it either."

Sango tilted her head, "Why not? Sesshomaru and Inuyasha are brothers."

"They are half brothers." Miroku pointed out.

Rin nodded in agreement, "Yes, Lord Sesshomaru's mother is a demon."

"And Inuyasha's mother was human." I said, following her comment.

"Exactly. Inuyasha learned it from his own mother. I highly doubt Sesshomaru spent time with her to learn it, and he'd have no use for it since he's a demon." Miroku said.
