A/N:

I honestly really thank you all for the support, regardless of the circumstances. It does make me happy knowing that many of you have enjoyed reading my story. I began writing this story for fun, the fact that it has gotten recognized by all you was pure coincidence. It just goes to show how much we love Inuyasha together as a community.

When I see notifications of people adding my story or spamming me with votes, I want to shed a few tears and message them, thanking them for all the support, hehe. You guys motivate me a lot to write new chapters. Even though I'm hardly consistent.

Sorry for that, I'm in college, but nonetheless, the few people that have stayed and the new people that have joined, thank you for motivating me to continue writing. It just shows me that I can't just leave the story as is.

I love you guys! From the bottom of my heart! I've been writing this story since I was in like 6/7th grade and now I'm a freshman in college, I love it and you guys all together.

So as always, I hope you all ENJOY, LIKE, VOTE, COMMENT, FOLLOW, and SHARE with friends!

Love you guys! ❤️

The village was very bright and festive, it was always nice to come together and celebrate as family. Children were running around, screaming in excitement. The adults walked through each station, laughing with each other and reminiscing on all the good and bad times.

(Rin POV)

I walked silently besides Sesshomaru. Ah! This is so awkward! What do I say? Maybe I should invite him to eat, ah but he never really eats human food. Maybe sake? Ugh what do I do!?

I furrowed my eyebrows together, overthinking every scenario that came into my mind. "Rin!" I raised my head to the sound of my name being called.

We stopped walking as Daichi, one of the villagers that's my age, came up to us.

(Sesshomaru POV)

I watched silently as the boy came up to Rin, admiring her elegance. "Wow Rin..." His cheeks began turning red, "You look beautiful."

Rin smiled, "Thank you Daichi. Sesshomaru brought it for me."

The boy quickly glanced over to my direction and to no surprise he quickly looked away. "So I guess you won't be joining us throughout the festival." He rubbed the back of his neck, looking disappointed.

Rin shook her head, "No I guess not...but don't worry! I'm sure we'll keep bumping into each other."

With that they said their goodbyes and Daichi ran off. Rin turned back towards me before stopping. "Lord Sesshomaru?"

It was till then that I realized that I was staring at the kid too long. I looked down at her, "Rin."

(Rin POV)

I stared at him as he continued, "Are you hungry?" He asked. I look at him shocked before giggling.

"Yes very much! Let's go." I grabbed his hand and began guiding him through the crowd of people.

I think many villagers were shocked to see Sesshomaru here, whether they knew him or not. A demon in a human village, celebrating with them, was clearly enough to draw some attention. We stopped by a station and ordered sweet dumplings. "Um, do you want one?" I lifted a dumpling towards him.

(Sesshomaru POV)

I look down at the piece of food then over at Rin, "I don't have any interest in human foods." She stared and giggled awkwardly before lowering her hand.
