(Kagome POV)
"Hello! Kagome!?"
I looked up, "Oh! That must be Ayame and Koga!" I said, slowly getting up.
"I'll let them in Kagome." Rin said, heading to the door.
Inuyasha still isn't back yet. It's already getting late.
Ayame walked in with Koga following behind her, a few wolves staying outside. I walked over to greet them. Ayame gasped, "Kagome! You're so big. I knew you were expecting but I didn't know you were this far along.
"Haha, yes. I'm due in about a month. So any week now." I smiled as Ayame proceeded to feel my stomach. Ame walked over and grabbed Ayame's leg.
Ayame looked over and smiled, "Oh my goodness! Ame you've grown so much. Look how handsome you are." She scooped him up from the floor and kissed his cheek.
"He takes after Kagome then. Hey Kagome." Koga said.
I giggled, "Hi Koga. Well, make yourselves at home. I just finished making dinner."
"Where's the mutt?" Koga asked, sitting down by the fire next to Ayame. Ame remained in her lap, playing with her fur wraps.
"He had a job to do. I guess he's running a bit late since he still isn't back yet." I said, sighing.
Koga gently rubbed Ame's cheek, "Tch, that stupid mutt, leaving you alone at night when it's most dangerous. He's a good for nothing-" Koga was silence by a foot pressed against the back of his head.
"Who you calling a mutt?" We all looked up to see Inuyasha glaring at Koga.
"Well, bout time you showed up." Koga said.
Inuyasha walked over to the wall and put down a jug, "Hey, do you know how hard it is to run with a jug of sake, without spilling it. Ungrateful wolf." Inuyasha grabbed a few bowls and poured sake for Koga and himself.
"Hey Kagome." He sat besides me and took a sip of his sake.
"You should eat something before you start drinking." I said, scolding him.
"Dada!" Ame jumped off of Ame's lap and ran over to Inuyasha.
(Inuyasha POV)
I looked over at Ame and watched him climb onto my legs, "Hey! Good job taking care of mommy."
"Wow, what an amazing sight." Koga teased looking at Inuyasha. Ayame giggled, nodding at her husband.
"Huh?" I questioned.
"Oh nothing. You've just settled into the human world so quickly. You have a pup and another one on the way." Koga said.
I grinned at him, "Jealous? Poor Ayame, she fell in love with someone who doesn't have the balls to produce an heir."
Koga blushed and growled at Inuyasha who snickered at him.
"Please don't be so mean to Koga." Ayame said.
