The doors opened to reveal her.
The beautiful girl he had fallen in love with over a matter of seconds.
All those years ago.
Like a goddess, her shoes padded onto the red carpet which was scattered with ocean blue Water-Lilies that glistened in the warm evening sun of the early autumn days.
Tears were already in both of their eyes as they looked at each other, one with the bouquet of flowers in their hands and one with something else just as pretty as the woman approaching him.
She was walking delicately, like an angel had just stepped onto the land and had seen the one she knew she'd adore for the rest of her life. The one that although seems childish and silly, doesn't take their relationship like those personality traits.
She knows that he'd be nervous today, even she was. But it was that good nervous that filled your body with love and happiness that you can't describe because you only feel like that with one person. Maybe that person is taller than you, smaller, more brave, less intelligent, more humorous, so on so forth.
..But that won't matter once you've met the one.
You don't care if they're taller or smaller than you, smarter or less brighter than you, funnier or more serious than you, braver or more nervous than you.
Because love doesn't make expeditions for what they do, it doesn't care.
Nya looked at Kai, who was on the verge of bawling his eyes out, may I add, and gave him a nod and a smile. He returned it, waving slightly and trying not to cry and his baby sisters wedding. Years ago he wouldn't even let her talk to a guy, but now he's almost crying from being proud and happy that she's found the one. He couldn't ask for more. However he's a bit jealous that Jay worked up the courage to propose to Nya before Kai has to Skylor, but he'll get there, eventually.
Jay took one good look at his bride when she stood in front of him.
It wasn't really that fancy of a dress, considering she didn't want to trip during dancing or even walking up to Jay, but it still looked godly. White lace faded into blue lace on her arms and skirt, making it look like she was the literal Queen of the Oceans, just emerging to find the one. The one that er Tine knee would make her happy again, make her whole again.
Surprisingly, her longer black hair was actually down, past her shoulders and falling just behind her lace veil and the soft locks was laced with a white Water-Lilly tucked behind her ear.
Her light makeup was barely noticeable, considering Jay would say that she looked amazing with or without the face enhancement tools.
She smiled at Jay, who was wearing a casual tux that you'd wear at a wedding, with blue highlights dashed here and there making his suit a bit more out there than normal ones. And this might come as a shock to some of you, but Nya actually let him keep his curly brown locks up and all messy, as she said it 'Reminds her everyday that he doesn't need to change for her, because his presence alone makes her happy.'
They eyed each other.
"Nya."
"Jay."
Wu smiled and started the vows.
"We're gathered here to day, to commemorate the wedding of Jay Walker and Nya Smith. I have known them for many years now, seen them have their up and downs rather that be as friends, or lovers. And I would like to say, I'm proud. You are both like the children I never had. I say that like it's serious, when it's really not. You six are the most chaotic people to take care of." He laughed lightly, and Nya and Jay did too.
