The walk back was silent. Painfully silent. No one dares to speak in case someone else snaps and starts crying, or bursting into flames.

The walk back was long. Slow, and long. Even Sensei, Misako and Garmadon were falling behind. Cole and Jay were actually standing by each other, avoiding eye contact and looking down at what seemed like the grey floor.

Everyone thought it had gone grey without Zane. The world has been sucked out of it's colour ever since their brother had sacrificed himself. The world loved him, the citizens loved him, the team loved him, but he had just decided to leave. Did he care? Of course. But then why did he leave? Even the Sensei thought it was a mystery.

Lloyd pulled out the long key that unlocked the home, shoving it in the keyhole and turning it, a soft click being heard. He pushed it open slowly, afraid that it would break under his touch.

Again, the placed look grey and dull. It looked a mess, yet was so tidy.

The kitchen had the worst of it, it just looked completely black. It looked like no one could step in it, because it was where Zane cooked the meals, made the best breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even desert.

That's why dinner was scrapped that night, everyone just silently made their way to their respective rooms, and just, laid there in their beds for what seemed like hours. Time stopped without him. It just doesn't feel real.

Lloyd opens the top draw near his bed, eyeing the candy stash he has in there. If he was sad, he'd eat the candy and be pumped out his little mind and become really happy again, then regretting it at about 3AM as he retched into the toilet.

But, just staring at it made him gag. It wasn't like Lloyd to do that, not at all. He just, didn't feel the need to eat and type of sugary food, without having the very level headed, and healthy Zane scold him for having too much, and he profusely mopped the sick covered carpet.

A single tear runs down his cheek and he wore it away quickly, sinking into the covers of his bed, not even bothering to change from his suit, or get under the covers. He just..wept. Wept the pain of not having a brother anymore. Just like he did when he was scared.

Truth being, he was.

He, The Green Ninja, was scared of the days to come. Would anyone speak to each other? Would anyone eat anything? He sure was, he was starving right now. But, he couldn't get himself to enter the kitchen now. Not yet. It brought back too many memories of him.

It was no secret that Nya had been the most emotional out of everyone. So, when she hadn't stopped crying since the funeral started, she wasn't wrong. Although it was not noticeable from the start, her brother still knew that something was up. He always did.

Halfway through, he had pulled her into a side hug and kissed her forehead, just like he did when she had had a nightmare, or got scared or upset over something as Simple as TV shows.

It was no exaggeration that she wanted her brother now. But she new she wasn't going to get the living embrace of her only blood related family left. Instead, a silence, a horrible silence that they both hated. But really, they just wanted to jump into each other's arms and cry. But, like Nya said, her brother couldn't even make eye contact with her.

The samurai slumped down her wall as she pulled her knees to her chest, taking in what happened during the day. She was lucky that some people still had an appetite. Because, after Zane's- his death, her need for food had completely vanished. She wasn't exactly someone to adore food from the start, but now it look like she tried to avoid it with every waking and sleeping moment.
