Prologue

On the 1st of October 1989, 43 babies were born. Mothers of these babies had no previous signs of pregnancy thus making them miracle babies. Reginald Hargreeves was a successful billionaire who strived for science and knowledge was fortunate enough to find and adopt 7 of these miracle children.

Instead of giving them names, he gave them numbers based on their usefulness. Number 1 being the most important and the leader and Number 7 being the least useful.

Few years later Reginald came across another miracle child with big potential and adopted her as well making her the 8th member of the academy.

Growing up the children wanted to have real names however their father paid no attention to giving it to them. Instead he had their adoptive mother named them for him instead.

Grace was a robot created by Reginald for the children to have a mother figure in their lives.

All the kids were thrilled to have actual names and not having to call each other by their number anymore. Everyone but one.

Number 5.

He didn't mind the name his mum gave him however he preferred to be called Five. He couldn't explain why. His siblings thought he was stupid but for him it made perfect sense. Although everyone was confused by it, they still respected his wishes and called him Five instead.

Luther is number 1. He is super strong.

Diego is number 2. He could manipulate thrown objects such as knives.

Allison is number 3. She can manipulate the reality by saying a rumour.

Klaus is number 4. He is able to communicate with the dead.

Five is number 5. He can jump through space and time.

Ben is number 6. He is able to summon and control the tentacle creature from a portal in his stomach.

Vanya is number 7. She is ordinary.

(Y/n) is number 8. She can manipulate objects around her and make them fly. Can sometimes lift herself. Can also create a protective barrier.
