Chapter 9

Five was sitting in a van opposite the place he went with Klaus yesterday to check out the prosthetic eye details. It wasn't a complete waste of time as he did get some information. It's a possibility the person have not lost their eye yet, but they will in the next seven days. Five decided to camp out and check out anything suspicious. Luther and Klaus visited him earlier saying about a family meeting and their mum but Five paid no attention as that was the least of his concern.

During the time Five was sitting in front of the place, the rest of the siblings had a meeting about their mum, the meeting Five was meant to join as well. Allison found a footage of their mum poisoning their dad.

"She's our mum!" Allison shouted at Luther.

"She's just a machine." Luther stated

"If you looked closer you would see she's taking his monocle." Diego rolled his eyes. "And not poising him. If she did the coroner's report would've showed it."

"So where is it? I checked everywhere and it's not there."

"I took it from her."

"You did what?!" Luther raised his voice a bit at Diego, getting angry.

"I did it because I knew that if you found it on her you would loose your shit! Like you're doing right now." Diego shouted back pointing at Luther and then at the TV Luther was showing the tape Allison found.

Luther took another step towards Diego but Vanya got in between. "Stop it."

When she saw Luther back off she continued. "I remember one time when dad said mum was programmed to be a caretaker but also a protector."

"So that means her hardware must be wearing off..." Luther muttered. "We need to turn her off."

"Woah! Woah! Woah!" Diego shouted again. "She's not just a vacuum cleaner you can shut off and throw in the closet! She has feelings and memories too! Emotions!"

"What if the next person she goes after is (y/n)?" When Luther said that Diego fell silent and avoided Luther's gaze.

Allison cleared her throat. "I'm with Luther on this."

"Surprise, surprise." Diego smiled sarcastically at Allison making her scoff at him.

Diego then turned to Vanya but when she started to stutter he turned to Klaus. "You shouldn't get a vote."

"Hey! I was gonna agree with you." Vanya glared at Diego making him turn back to look at her. "Look at that you get to vote. Klaus what about you?"

"Oh now everyone wants to know what I think." Klaus spatted glaring at Luther remembering how he threw him out of the van when him and Five were talking a while back. "You know what? I'm with Diego because screw this guy!" Klaus shouted as he pointed at Luther.

"Thank you." Diego smirked.

"And I bet if Ben and (y/n) were here they would agree with me."

At that Luther scoffed slightly.

"So it's settled."

"Shouldn't we wait for Five?" Allison said. "We said we gonna do this as a family so we should wait for him."

After that everyone left the room to do their own thing as they waited for Five to come back.

Couple hours later it has gotten dark and still no sign of Five. All of them were getting restless waiting for him but at the same time none of them could bring themselves to actually make the final decision. It was their mum after all. Just because she was a robot made by their dad doesn't mean she didn't take care of them like an actual mother.
