"What's the date?" Five asked as he started to prepare ingredients for his snack. They were all in the kitchen sitting by the table whilst Five was making himself a sandwich. "The exact date."

"The 24th." Vanya replied to him as everyone else was too confused to say anything.

"Of what?"

"March."

Five looked at the bread in his hands before softly sighing. "Good."

"So." Luther started. "Aren't we gonna talk about what just happened?"

They all look expectedly at Five waiting for him to explain what happened and where he has been.

Luther being fed up stood up from his chair and stood in front of Five. "It's been like 17 years."

Five scoffed at Luther and approach him. "Oh it's been a lot longer than that." He then space jumped behind Luther to open the fridge and took his favourite peanut butter.

"I haven't missed that." Luther's eye twitch as he looked at the place Five just stood.

"Where'd you go?" Diego asked.

"The future." Five space jumped back into the place he was making his sandwich. "It's shit by the way."

"I called it!" Klaus yelled proud of himself.

"I should've listened to the old man." Five groaned ignoring Klaus and getting his marshmallows from a cupboard. "Jumping through space is one thing but jumping through time is a toss of a dice." Finally being able to make his sandwich Five looked at all his siblings and was confused to see (y/n) missing. He read Vanya's book and was aware about the outcome of their mission. Yet, she was awake during the apocalypse so he assume father figured out how to wake her up after Vanya published her book. He was very confused. If not their father, then who?

"Nice dress." He finally said pointing at Klaus.

"Oh well danke." Klaus replied proudly.

"Wait." Vanya shook her head. "How did you get back?"

"In the end I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." Five explained as briefly as he could and for his siblings to understand.

However, his siblings looked at him in pure confusion trying to process what he just said.

"That makes no sense." Diego said still trying to understand what Five said.

"It would if you were smarter." Five smirked softly at his remark not making eye contact with Diego.

Diego stood up and was ready to fight his now younger brother but was stopped by Luther's hand who held him back from assaulting a child.

"How long were you there?" Luther tried to change the subject.

Five stopped wha he was doing and looked at the ceiling deep in thought. "Forty-five years. Give or take." Then he resumed his sandwich making.

After hearing that both Luther and Diego slump down dumbfounded. Klaus mouth opened so wide he looked like a fish.

"S-so what? You're like 58?" Luther stuttered absolutely taken back.

"No my consciousness is 58." Five replied to Luther. "Apparently my body is 13 again." He carried on bitterly. He took an angry bite from his sandwich already thinking about the wrong calculation he had done.

"How does that even work?" Vanya breathed out. Klaus was massaging his face trying to sober up because he just couldn't believe what his brother was saying.
