Chapter 13

It has been few days since the day Vanya tried to destroy the world. The siblings were in Reginald's second house, just on the outskirts of the city. Pogo made arrangements to get their childhood house repaired. As he did that he also tried to do some damage control, as the media was going crazy with what happened at the theatre and started making up stories how the Hargreeves children were dangerous to the society. It's going to take a while but the people will understand and accept what happened. In the meantime they all will have to keep a low profile and let things cool down.

At the moment (y/n), Five, Luther and Diego were sitting at the table in the kitchen eating breakfast that was made by Grace. Klaus was still sleeping and Allison went to see her daughter to make sure she's okay.

The all ate in silence but it wasn't awkward. It was comfortable and cozy being able to safely eat with family again.

Pogo entered the kitchen and sat at one of the available seats.

"How's Vanya?" (Y/n) was the first one to ask and break the silence.

"She's better now so if you would like you can go and see her." Pogo smiled softly.

"Great!" The (h/c) haired girl exclaimed as she stood up, already finished with her food.

"Let me go with you." Five said standing up.

(Y/n) placed her hand on his shoulder softly but firmly pushing him to sit back down. The other two boys snickered at that. "It's okay I can go by myself, besides you still haven't finished your food. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" She patted his shoulder before leaving the kitchen.

Five reluctantly went back to finish his bacon.

"It was always so obvious you had a thing for her." Diego smirked making Luther chuckle.

Five narrowed his eyes at Diego in annoyance. "What is that suppose to mean?"

"Even back then you would follow her around anywhere she went. Staying close to her during trainings, sitting next to her during meal times and if you were not next to her you would always stare at her." Luther explained remembering the good times.

Five blushed slightly before he glared at his brothers. "I'm only worried something will happen to her."

"Just confess to her already." Diego scoffed at his younger brother. "I'm pretty sure she likes you too."

Five rolled his eyes and sighed. "Don't you think it would be weird and wrong?"

Luther and Diego look at Five in confusion. "How so?"

Five stared at his brothers. Of course they didn't understand and he had to explain himself again.

Five let out a sigh, "I'm too old for her and we're siblings."

"Technically you're a 13 year old boy-" Diego started.

"-And you're not related by blood." Luther continued.

"What they're trying to say is just because your conscience is old doesn't mean your body is too. You will still go through puberty and hormones like any other boy your age." Pogo started to explain with a teasing wink. "And as Luther said, you are step siblings not related by blood so it's fine."

Five blushed slightly and looked away making the other three laugh at his sudden shyness.

Back with (y/n) she stood in front of the room Vanya was staying at. She was a bit hesitant to enter as Vanya was very upset earlier and didn't want to see anyone. The (h/c) girl smacked her cheeks lightly to get rid of any nerves and knocked on the door.
