Chapter 11

"Well we found Harold Jenkins." Five said as him, Diego and Klaus stood in front of now dead Harold.

Using the briefcase Five figured out who was responsible for the apocalypse and went back to his siblings to ask them for help to take this guy down. Turns out it was a man who gotten close to Vanya and pretended to care for her.

Needless to say, Allison found him first in his lake house where he was with Vanya but that didn't go too well. Allison had confessed something to Vanya making her very upset, unleashing her hidden power and accidentally slashing Allison's throat. Allison was partly at fault for making Vanya believe she was just ordinary. Their father believed it would be better for everyone if Vanya never knew she had powers as they were very dangerous and she couldn't control them.

Luther managed to find her just in time and brought her back to the academy where Grace managed to close up her wound. Even though Diego turned off Grace, Pogo repaired her knowing she will be still needed to help out the family and he was right looking how swiftly she closed up Allison's wound.

"It's just too easy though." Five muttered utterly confused. "Who killed him?"

"I don't know but we should thank them now lets go." Klaus said wanting to leave the crime scene in case police arrives and blames them for the crime.

"Klaus is right." Diego agreed. "Apocalypse is not happening and we can all relax now."

Five looked unconvinced but followed his brothers back to the academy.

When they were there Five went to the mini bar Reginald had, made himself a martini and went to (y/n)'s room.

"Can you believe it? We saved the world." Five muttered in disbelief as he sat back in his seat next to (y/n)'s bed and sipped on his drink.

"Question is, who killed him?" Suddenly Five looked at the girl still sleeping on the bed. "And why are you still asleep? You were awake today when the apocalypse happened so how come you're still in a coma?" Five looked in deep concentration at her, seeing her chest slowly rise up and down as she breathed.

"You should come down to the basement now." Klaus entered (y/n)'s room in a hurry.

Five looked at Klaus in irritation.

"Luther just locked Vanya in the soundproof cell I didn't know we still had in this academy."

Shock was written all over Five's face and he got up and rushed downstairs with Klaus to see what was that all about.

When they got there Luther started explaining how Vanya got powers, how she attacked Allison and was the one that killed Harold.

Luther, Diego and Klaus started arguing about Vanya and how Luther should let her out of there so they can help her but Luther was not listening. To be honest neither was Five as he was trying to understand why would their father keep that away from them. Making her believe she was ordinary.

Allison came into the room and glared at Luther as she angrily scribbled on her note pad. Because of her injury she was unable to speak.

"Let her go." The note said but Luther just sighed and shook his head.

"She attacked you."

"My fault." She wrote then tried to push past Luther to set Vanya free herself but Luther held her back with ease. After struggling for a long time he managed to push everyone out of the room leaving Vanya all alone.

Five went up to his fathers study and tried to crack open the safe that help all his notes. This wasn't a time to respect Reginald's privacy anymore and was time to see what the old man was up to.
