Five stood, with hands in his pockets, in front of him was painted portrait of him that hanged in the massive library. He heard footsteps approach him from behind.

"Nice to know dad didn't forget about me." He stated and he swiftly turned around to be face to face with Vanya.

"Believe it or not but dad let (y/n) paint your portrait." Vanya said softly nodding her head towards Five's painting.

Five looked back at the painting in surprise. It was a very well made painting. Five looked closer and he could see at the bottom right corner (y/n)'s name elegantly written.

"She pestered dad to let her paint you when she overheard him speaking to Pogo to hire a painter." Vanya laughed a bit at her memory. "It got to the point where she would follow dad everywhere he went and kept asking for permission. Eventually, dad agreed but only if she exceeded in her training. She trained so hard she had a constant headache from overusing her power. But what do you know, it all paid off and she succeeded in every test dad thrown at her. Deal was a deal and dad let her paint you."

Five smiled as he listened to Vanya. Sounded like buttercup to him. Very stubborn and persistent.

"I've read your book, by the way." Five stated feeling the need to explain for some reason. "Found it in a library that was still standing. That's how I knew about (y/n)."

Five was crashed when he read Vanya's book. Not because she exposed their family but what happened to (y/n). Finding out that (y/n) was injured and he wasn't there to protect her made his heart ache. If only he listened to you when you tried to stop him then you would still be fine.

"Also what happened to Ben." He added. At that Vanya looked away. Loosing 3 siblings definitely took a toll on all of them. Especially since they knew one of them will never come back.

"I thought it was quite good, all things considered. Definitely ballsy I give you that, giving up the family secrets like that." Five smirked at her. "That must've went well?"

"They hate me." Vanya's shoulders slumped.

"Well there are worse things that can happen." Five stated thinking about the apocalypse that is about to happen in few days.

"I guess I rather have them hate me than loose any more of my family." Vanya said and walked out of the room. Five looked back at her in pity. Just because he went through hell didn't mean his siblings didn't go through it either.

Couple hours later

Five was currently entering Griddy's Doughnuts. The only place that was close enough with decent coffee.

Him and his siblings had a short ceremony to honour dad and spread the ashes. However it just ended with his two brothers, Diego and Luther, fighting. Literally. Five had no time to watch his brother fight, he went inside to find some coffee to drink but was disappointed that there was none around. That's why he decided to drive to the nearest place for some cup of coffee.

Five entered the place and sat by the counter chairs and rang the little bell to signalise he was waiting to order. As soon as he did someone else entered the cafe and sat next to him with a tired sigh.

The waitress finally arrived apologising. "I'm so sorry the sink was clogged. What will it be?" She asked taking her notepad.

"Hot chocolate please." The man replied.

"Sure thing and can I get a glass of milk for the kid?" The waitress pointed at Five.

Five scoffed at the woman. "The kid wants coffee. Black."
