It has been about 3 months since Five's disappearance and things haven't really been the same, not for (y/n). She missed her best friend dearly.

Trainings have been even harder for everyone, pushing them to their limits. Their father wanted them to master their powers as quick as possible. Possibly to avoid another incident like with Five.

"Number 8! You need to concentrate harder!" Reginald said firmly to (y/n) during the training.

(Y/n) was currently trying to lift a statue with her telekinesis. Her dad told her that if she succeed at that she will be able to make herself float. It was easy to make someone else gloat however it was much harder to float herself. Now flying would be very cool and great show off to everyone. The (h/c) haired girl squinted her eyes harder on the statue making them shine brighter. After couple of seconds the statue only shook a bit.

(Y/n) sighed deeply as she stopped focusing in making the statue float. She could feel a headache starting to appear due to her overuse of power.

"Number 8!"

"Yes dad I know. I need to take a short break and I will get back to training." (Y/n) said with her eyes dropped to the floor. The headache was starting to get stronger and if she didn't get a painkiller now it will only get worse.

Reginald stared down at (y/n). He saw her brows furrow in concentration and her face gone slightly paler. He knew that it must've been because she over used her power.

"Very well." He stated. "Make it short and get back to work." Without giving her a second glance, Reginald turned around and walked up to Klaus.

(Y/n) signed and walked out of the training room and into the kitchen where she knew she would find mum.

Upon arriving she saw mum humming softly as she prepared the dishes for later.

"Mum would you happen to have any painkillers for my headache?" (Y/n) asked as she sat down at the kitchen table.

"Of course dear." Grace said. Wiping her hands on her apron, she took the painkillers from a shelf and passed them to (y/n) as well as a glass of water.

"Thank you, mum."

(Y/n) took her painkillers and waited for them to start to work before going back to the training room and resuming her concentration on the statue.

Later that evening (y/n) sat down by her desk and was doodling in her sketchbook. Her doodles turned into mini portraits of Five.

When Five was still around he would often be her model whenever (y/n) couldn't find inspiration to draw. Now would be a great time to have her friend back to draw.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Vanya opened the door. "I'm going down to the kitchen. Are you coming with me?"

"Yes." (Y/n) stood up from her chair and smiled. They walked to the kitchen in silence.

"I saw those little doodles of Five. They're quite good." Vanya said as the two girls started preparing Five's favourite snack. Peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.

"Thanks." (Y/n) replied softly.

"I miss him a lot too." Vanya said after a while.

"I just hope he's okay." (Y/n) said finishing the sandwich.

The girls cleaned up the mess they made, left the lights on and left back to their rooms.

(Y/n) and Vanya would do this every night ever since Five disappeared just in case when he does come back, he will see the lights on and stays knowing they were waiting for him.
