Lets just say Grace named the children when they were about 10 years old. So it makes sense that I am calling the reader number 8 instead of (y/n). I will later though don't worry! :D

A little (h/c) girl was running downstairs from her room to the library where she was sure she would see number 5 reading one of the books. Number 8 has been practicing her telekinesis just like her father instructed her to do to strengthen her mind. She just successfully managed to lift a book. Seems like not a big deal but the heavier the object the harder it was for Eight to be able to lift it. That's why she had to practice daily lifting objects up to strengthen her mind.

As soon as Eight entered the library, she immediately spotted number 5 sitting on one of the couches reading a book like she suspected.

"Five!" Number 8 shouted running up to the boy.

"What is it?" Five asked confused. He marked where he stopped reading and closed his book.

"Look what I just managed to do!" The excited girl said as she took the book off of Five.

Five only raised his eyebrow at her and let her continue.

Eight started to focus on the book very hard, almost squinting her eyes trying to make it move. Couple moments later the book didn't budge at all.

"Um..."

"Wait! Wait!" Eight quickly said.

She closed her eyes. Took a deep breath then slowly exhaled to calm down her pounding heart. When she opened her eyes they weren't gorgeous (e/c) but were pure white. Every time she used her powers her eyes would turn white, almost glowing.

Slowly, the book started to lift itself up and moments later number 8 was able to move her hands away and let the book float in the air.

"Buttercup, this is great!" Five said amazed as he took a closer look at the flying book. "Your mind is definitely getting stronger."

"Thank you Five." Eight said grinning widely. At that moment number 8 lost her focus on the book making it drop on the floor.

Five and Eight both looked down at the book, which was now laying by their feet. "I still need a lot of practice." Eight said shrugging slightly, giving Five an awkward smile. Five shook his head and laughed.

When one of the kids made good progress with their power, Reginald would award them with a gift. They would come up with something as a group what they would like to receive so that way all of them will be able to enjoy it.

For number 2 excellent knife throwing he was able to ask for a prize. After talking with the rest of his siblings they decided on a board game to play during the evenings they have free from training.

"Could I get snake and ladder board game, father?" Two asked Reginald when he was asked into his fathers office.

Reginald looked up from his notes to look at number 2.

After a brief silence he said, "very well." And made a note of it in his notes.

Two thanked Reginald and left his office.

The next day the siblings were all
Sitting in the library on the floor around the game.

"There isn't enough pawns so we'll just take turns." Number 1 said after he read the instructions. Everyone agreed and they played rock, paper, scissors to determine who will play first.
