saiyr sighed in content as she felt fingers gently caress her hair. she was relaxed and the feeling of laziness wafted in the air. today was definitely a day in. since she would be leaving soon, saiyr's parents had allowed shareef to stay over for a couple of nights as he too, would be leaving for lsu and the both of you were spending as much time together as you could hence how shareef spent nights at your house. waking up next to shareef was safety and comfort. she loved how she would feel his fingers gently move through her hair, down her spine and finally when he saw that she was awake, he would place multiple kisses on her face. her heart would feel so full of love for him, she was afraid it might burst out of her chest. she and shareef had talk in length about their approaching long-distance relationship and they both were adamant in putting in the effort to maintain it. the distance wasn't so bad either and they could both fly out to each other and visit so they weren't stressed about it. they both agreed that communication was the key and that if they were feeling in any way, shape, or form, unloved or not receiving attention from each other, they would talk it out. they handled arguments in the same manner and they rarely fought.
"you going to get up soon?" shareef's voice carried through the quiet bedroom and she nodded, sighing before opening her eyes. "morning." shareef smiled before kissing her softly. "morning baby." saiyr sat up and stretched her body out, exhaling in content at the feeling of relief. "what do you want to do today?" she shrugged as she walked to her bathroom and started up her morning routine. after brushing her teeth, she turned the shower on, adjusting it to the right temperature before taking off her lounge set and getting in.
twenty minutes passed before she stepped out, a towel wrapped around her body and another on her hair. shareef was scrolling through his phone when he saw sai step out the bathroom and sat up on the bed before heading to the bathroom as well. sai dried her hair and combed it before dried the rest of her body and rubbing lotion on herself. she picked her savage x fenty underwear and put it on as well as some short biker shorts. she needed them for the outfit she had in mind.
by the time reef had exited the shower, sai was coating a layer of lipgloss to her lips. he smiled seeing his girlfriend looking laid back like this. he headed to her walk-in closet and picked his out. yes, he had some clothes over at her house. he quickly dressed and walked out, seeing saiyr typing on her phone. "you ready to go?" he asked and she nodded, grabbing her small bag. they weren't going anywhere particular so they decided to walk with them taking pictures of each other along the way. they stopped for food along the way and eventually ice-cream, hands interlocked and the sun shining down upon them.
they might be apart for a while but they had memories and their blossoming love was growing stronger by the day.
