"I do not want to do this, Zion," Malak muttered, looking at the familiar white building with beautiful glass windows.

Zion sighed and squeezed his angel's hand for comfort. "I know, Angel. I don't want to either but we don't have much choice. If we don't, the whole world will be destroyed," Zion replied.

"If we do, you might die again. And I- God brought you back once for this but will he do it again?" His demon's silence confirmed Malak's belief. The poor angel wasn't ready to lose his mate again. But he knew that if he didn't do this, his mate and every one of the Earth would die. So he really didn't have a choice. "That is what I thought-" he sighed and knocked on the door- "Neither of us will die on this journey. Got it?"

"I like that plan, Malakai," Zion stated, kissing his angel's forehead.

Father Thomas opened the church doors with a smile. The young angel he had meant a couple of weeks earlier was back. But he wasn't sure who the big guy beside him was. The stranger had an unusual presence surrounding him, unlike the angel's pure presence. His presence seemed darker but not in a way that'd cause the priest to be afraid.

"Welcome back, Kid," The father smiled at the angel. "I'm Father Thomas-" He reached his hand out to the stranger- "Who are you?"

Zion silently stared at the guy's hand. Sure he needed the guy's help but he really didn't want it. Humans and well, all beings annoyed him. He'd make sure to do the least amount of conversing possible.

Thankfully, Malak noticed and replied, "He is Zion. He is my soulmate. And I do not think that I introduced myself to you properly so I am Malak!"

He wasn't sure why his mate didn't answer but Malak was glad to answer for him. The angel wasn't sure who he could trust anymore. Anyone could betray him just like his guardian did. Anyone except his mate. But Zion convinced the angel to trust the father. He was very thankful for that because he really liked the father. He was very kind.

The father chuckled, "Nice to meet you two. So are you an angel also?"

Zion blankly stared at him.

"He is a fallen angel," Malak answered since his mate was acting strangely. His mate was always happy to answer his questions. Why won't he answer the father's?

Before Father Thomas could respond, Zion said, "Honestly, I'm glad you and Malak got to catch up but we need your help."

"Oh, alright," he replied, shocked that the demon actually spoke to him. "How about you both come in and we can talk in my office?"

Malak excitedly grabbed his demon's hand and followed the father. Hopefully, he could help the pair find who they need to find and defeat them without either of them getting hurt. If he couldn't, Malak wasn't sure where they'd go.

Once they all sat down, Father Thomas inquired what they needed. "We need information on the four horsemen and how we can find them. We unfortunately already ran into the white horse, conquest. She's dead now so we really can't get any information from her," Zion monotonously answered.

"Wait, you mean the four horsemen of the apocalypse? The ones who will destroy the Earth?" Zion silently nodded- "Alright, um, this is actually insane. You want to know how to find them? Well, let's see. Well, the red horse is known as war specifically civil war since the white horse is sometimes known as common war. That might be easy to find if you keep up with the news. Just look for a civil war and see if the horsemen are there.

"The black horse is famine. It might be harder to find but I'm guessing all the horsemen will be near each other. They need each other to reach their full potential and cause the apocalypse. So try looking for a famine somewhere around here and around wherever the civil war will take place.

"The last horse is probably the worst one. The pale horse is death. This will be the hardest horseman to find. They will most likely be near the others but death is everywhere. You're going to have to find a trail to follow. Deaths that are similar. Even if you find the trail, you might not be able to find the horseman unless they want to be found."

Hearing this, Malak felt relieved a bit but not by much. This wasn't going to be an easy quest. In fact, it was probably going to be incredibly hard. But for some reason, they were chosen to save the world.

"Thanks. We should get going now," Zion said, standing up.

Malak grabbed his demon's hand, which was reached out for him to take. Before Zion could drag the angel out of the building, he thanked the father since his mate was still being weird. The father chuckled, "No problem, Malak. Good luck to both of you and if you ever need my help, you know where to find me!"

The young angel allowed his mate to drag him out of the building. He hoped his mate would stop acting funny. Maybe it was a side effect of dying but his demon seemed completely fine when they were alone. Maybe Zion didn't like the father. Hopefully, that wasn't the case because Malak really wanted to trust him. But he didn't trust himself to know who to trust even if Zion believed he could.

Zion decided to not interrupt his angel's wandering thoughts. He'd ask about it later to make sure he was okay. The demon knew he wasn't the best at pretending to like someone. Probably because he doesn't pretend at all. It wasn't like he cared about anyone's thoughts but Malak and maybe Saleos. However, his behavior seemed to bother his angel. So, he'd have to talk to him about it later. Hopefully, the angel would understand.

"Well, honestly I thought both of you would take longer," a familiar voice said as the pair left the church. They were shocked to see the being in front of them. Why was he here? What'd Lucifer want?
