I thought for a moment,
"How old are you?" I asked, looking into the fire. He chuckled,
"Alot older than I look, my mother was the last female ever found. Well before you. So I'm just over a hundred. One hundred and ten to be exact." I swear my mouth hit the floor. He can't be that old! He does not look a day over ten!
"Well... that's, really old. How exactly do your years work? Like if your one hundred and ten how old are you in human years?"
"In human years I'm one hundred and ten. Our years are no different than a humans we just age extremely slowly so if I were to go to a human school I would be considered eleven." I lissened closely. If he is the one teaching me about history and stuff I guess I should ask a more history related question.
"So for every ten years equals one human year?" He nodded. "And your mother was the last female?" He nodded once more, "So that means it's only been 10 years right?" He thought for a moment.
"No its been one hundred years, but if you were going by the every ten years, yes."
"If you dont mind, sence you are teaching me history, can you tell me what it was like back then?" He looked down.
"I suppose." He stood up and grabbed a book and opened it up.
"One hundred years ago us werewolfs were more appreciated. We were the ones who helped win the war, world war that it. That's how we lost so many females, in the war. For the female werewolf is more stirdy and can take more hits, while the male is faster and slightly stronger. The females took the front lines and saved us from complete extinction. But now with no females werewolf we are slowly loosing numbers. That would explain why Trent is pushing you to pick a mate. You might be the one to save our kind." He looked over at me. I now felt a heavy weight on my sholders. "You alright Elizabeth?" I looked up at him, my face growing pale. He quickly stood up and ran out of the room returning with water a few moments later and handing it to me. I took it and drank. The color slowly comming back to my face. "I think that's enough history for one day. If you want to know anymore just ask. I'll take you to Anthony, I bet he's waiting for you."
