I didn't catch sight of Nathaniel for the rest of the day and honestly didn't know how to feel about that. I guess it didn't matter because what was I even gonna say to him?

Oh hey! I realized you were scared of storms that was why I intentionally started an argument and spurred you on to insult me just so you could get your mind off it?

Yeah, no. That one statement only, had all the different kinds of wrong attached to it. Not only was I admitting to being pugnacious, I was basically implying that raining insults on me was okay of which...didn't even come close to being acceptable.

And besides I didn't think Nathaniel would appreciate me practically throwing it at his face that I knew one (if not only) of his weaknesses. So it was all good. We were just gonna pretend like nothing of the sorts happened. Oh how good I was at pretending. Not.

Anyway, prep was lurking in the corner waiting to tumble out in a few minutes time. After finishing my work with the usual thirty minutes to spare before prep, I was a mess stumbling around while trying to do multiple tasks at the same time in order to make it.

And I swear these few days made me convinced that I was as good as a computer could ever be. I mean not literally as good as a computer but you get what I was driving at. I could multitask and a computer could as well. Uhh why was I thinking of this? Right.

So I took a shower, got dressed and packed my stuff all in fifteen minutes. Knowing that the walk to school was about eight minutes, my personal version of jubilation commenced in my head as I realized I could get something to eat before prep actually started.

I locked our door behind me and started towards the direction of every normal teenager's enemy. I loved school though, the prep in particular. Wait... what did I say? Every normal teenager?

Pfttt don't fret. We already established long ago that you weren't normal.

Hey! I was very normal.....okay fine.

Sometimes I wondered whether everyone's little friend in their heads were as mean as mine was. It drove me nuts sometimes-no screw that, all the time with being brutally honest every second. Even when I wanted to delude myself a little for a good cause, this annoying pest would jump out of nowhere and say, 'Ha! In your dreams. Now why would you get something you wanted when I was around?'

Okay that was a bit exaggerated but...hey! Wasn't that Daphne? What was she doing there?

I changed my course, rotating towards her like a butterfly would nectar. She looked somewhat engaged, that is, if the the stuporous state she seemed to be stuck in was any indication.

What was she doltishly staring at like that?

I followed her line of vision and smirked. Oh someone has been bad, alright. "Hey." I said lowly into her ear and she yelped, stumbling away from me. Okay so she was really engaged.
