"ANGEL, I THINK we're lost." y/n said with furrowed eyebrows as she and mads walked through the woods.
"nope, trust the process." mads smiled and squeezed her girlfriends hand in reassurance.
"okay..." y/n answered with unsureness laced in her voice.
they walked for a couple more minutes before mads spoke up.
"here we are!" y/n was met by a small campfire that was surrounded by trees- one of them tied to a hammock- fairy lights, and food.
"aww, mads!" the girl gushed as she looked around in awe.
"i'm guessing you like it?" the blonde chuckled heartedly.
"yes, this is so sweet!"
"well, come on! let's eat." the blue eyed girl smiled as she sat down on one of the logs, y/n following suite.
by the time the two had finished eating, the sun had set. they were cuddled against one another, a blue fuzzy blanket wrapped around themselves.
"i wanna spend the rest of my life with you." mads mumbled with a smile as she rested her head against her girlfriends head.
"really?"
"yeah."
the two laid there peacefully, enjoying the setting sunset.
"me too." y/n smiled softly.
