Olivia sat in the park for hours. She sat down on a bench and just watched the sunset and all of the people around the park. There were some families, couples, and lots of children. She watched them with sadness in her heart. Many people gave her strange looks as she was sitting on the bench by herself.
She finally got cold and decided to head back to the apartment. She walked slowly with her hands shoved in her pockets. Olivia wasn't sure what kind of state Elliot would be in by the time she got back.
As she approached their building, she took a deep breath. Olivia stopped outside and stared up at the building. She could see their window and all of lights on inside. As she watched from outside, she saw the blinds move. Elliot appeared in the window and she saw them look around. Soon, he looked down and they made eye contact. She could see Elliot let out a sigh of what looked like relief.
She looked down and walked into the building. She took the elevator up and it felt like it was the longest ride ever because she didn't know what she was about to walk into.
Olivia walked down the hall and slowly opened the door to the apartment. Elliot was standing directly on the other side. She let the door fall shut and stayed standing in her spot.
They looked at each other in a stare down waiting for someone to break.
Elliot surged forward and pulled her body to his holding her tightly in a hug. Her whole body tensed and her arms hung at her sides as he held her body. "I thought you were gone for good. I thought I lost you, baby." He whispered burying his face in her hair.
He took a deep breath and Olivia felt his body go rigid around her. Elliot pulls away from her and his eyes goes dark. She stares up at him confused as to what was about to happen.
"You went to his house. You went to see Amaro." Elliot states pushing her back from him.
Olivia starts to panic and knew she needed to defend herself, "No, Elliot. I only went for a walk!" She exclaims backing away from him.
He shook his head and laughed at her menicingly. "You think I'm going to believe you? I know you went to his house. Did you fuck him, Olivia?"
She shook her head and walked around him. If this was going to happen again, she was at least going to need a drink. She grabbed a wine glass and poured a generous amount into the glass. Elliot followed closely behind her and didn't stop talking.
"Did you? Did you lay down and let him fuck you?" He asked standing directly behind her. She slowly turned around to face him with the wine glass in hand. He put his hands on the counter resting on both sides of her. Over his shoulder, she could see bottles littered all over the island.
"Answer me, Olivia! Hm?" He got closer to her face and lowered his voice. "Did he make you cum like I have? Did you scream his name like you have screamed mine? Did you leave marks on his back like you do mine?"
Olivia turned her head away from him and shut her eyes, "I didn't, Elliot. I didn't go anywhere. I don't care about Nick," She cries out quietly.
"Quit lying to me, Olivia! You smell like another man! You are such a fucking whore!" He insisted. Elliot kept his voice calm as he spoke as to not get the cops called to their apartment again. He knew that he wouldn't get away with it this time.
"Tell me, Olivia. Did you use that pretty little mouth of yours on him?" He asked, laughing right in her face.
"I didn't!" She yelled back. "I swear, Elliot. I only went to Central Park and watched the sunset and came back. I don't even know where Amaro lives!"
As her voice raised, he reached up and grabbed her face. "You better keep it down. Do not get the cops called again because you're being a stupid bitch." He snarled deeply. He took a step back and stared her down.
Olivia kept her eyes trained on her feet. "It's only you, Elliot. I only love you." She tells him.
"You think you are the only person who can get some?" He asks her hitting the wine glass out of her hand. She watches it fall and smash into pieces all over the wooden floor. Red wine splashes everywhere including their clothes.
"Elliot, please. Please just stop." She whispers lifting up her hands to cover her face. Olivia didn't know how much more she could handle of him beating her down like this. She felt like she was at the absolute edge.
Reaching over, she snagged the broom from the corner and tried to start sweeping up the broken glass before one of them step in any glass. Elliot continued to just stare at her before stepping over the mess before grabbing his keys and left the apartment.
Finally, Olivia let her tears fall again. She felt as if she had cried more in the last few days than she had her entire life. After cleaning up all the glass, she soaked up the red wine with an old dish towel before it ruined the hardwood floor.
Once she was done cleaning, she threw it all away before plopping down on the couch. She no longer wanted a drink which was good because all of the wine they had was now in the trash soaked into a dish towel.
She wrapped herself up in a blanket and let her head fall back on the couch.
Olivia had no idea what she needed to do to convince Elliot that she wasn't sleeping with Nick. She barely even knew the guy. She was, and still is, in love with Elliot. She would never step outside of their marriage. For years, she saw nothing but him even when he was still married. He wasn't even hers and she still never gave a second look at another man because she loved Elliot.
She had no clue why all of a sudden Elliot had so much rage against her. Olivia had never felt more hopeless in her entire life than she did now. She had always been the one to save others so who was going to save her? Nobody.
Olivia held onto hope that this was going to pass. Things were going to get better. The couple had hit rock bottom so the only place to go is up, right? At least she hoped. That was the only thing getting through the days was that things were going to pass.
She let out a deep sigh and pulled the blanket around her tighter. Olivia was just so tired. She had never felt so broken than she did now. She was utterly exhausted.
Olivia had no idea how long she had been sitting on the couch because she must have fallen asleep. She realized the sound that woke her up was the front door crashing open. Before she even opened her eyes, fear filled her body. She glanced at the clock and realized it had been a few hours and now it was going on midnight.
When Olivia turned her head, the sight she saw made her stomach churn. Elliot stood there with his hands on the hips of some small blonde. The girl was skinny with big boobs and ass but other than that was tiny. She had to have been half the size of Olivia and probably half her age too.
Elliot was kissing at her neck and backed her through the door. Olivia's jaw dropped and she didn't even know what to do in that moment. If she got up and tried to stop what was happening, she didn't know what would happen to her. If she didn't, she might witness her husband hook up with another woman in their home. So, she stayed frozen on the couch debating her options.
As the small blonde was focusing on unbuttoning his shirt, he looked up and caught eyes with his wife. Her eyes were wide as she watched the situation play out in front of her. He smirked at her and looked back down at the blonde girl in front of him.
Elliot knew this was hurting her. He knew this might kill her. Nothing was going to hurt her more than this did.
He started to lead the blonde back to their bedroom but he stops before completely disappearing. He grabs her phone, keys, and wallet. He gave her an evil smile as he shoved them in his pants pocket. Elliot effectively made it impossible for her to leave.
Sobs started to rip through her chest as she heard their bedroom door shut and lock. Her husband was about to fuck some random girl on the bed they shared as a married couple when she was just in the other room. She had never felt more betrayed in her life.
