Dream parries a blow from Bad, then spins to block one from Sapnap, then ducks under Georges swipe. He sees an opening in their defences and darts past, now no longer surrounded.
"Oh, goshdarnit! Why is he so good!?" Bad rages, running forwards to try and hit him again. He holds up his shield, Bad's blade bouncing off.
Just then, an arrow sinks into the ground at their feet, causing to jump back from eachother.
"Thank you."
The deep voice only startles Dream, but Bad immidiately pales, whipping to look at who spoke, stepping back with his sword up, instinctively defensive.
"Woah Bad, what's wrong? Who is this?" Dream looks between the red eyed and coated man and the shaking boy.
"T-Technoblade! Hey!"
He doesn't even seem to hear Dream.
"Hey, chill Halo, I'm not here to fight. Skeppy may be an easy opponent but I don't want to test him. I just wanna know where I am. Who're your friends?" Bad relaxes a bit, sword dropping to his side, he runs his hand through his hair.
"Oh! Yeah! Uh..." Bad seems to realize the others were still there, taking a shaky breath, "guys, this is Technoblade. Techno, this is George, Sapnap, and Dream."
"Ah. So you're the legendary Dream." Techno's gaze turns to the green hooded man.
"You've heard of me?"
"Why do people say that? How am I supposed to respond, 'no I saw your face on the front of a cereal box,' yes I've heard of you! Hypixel is a talkative place."
"Ah... Bad why are you scared of him again?"
"... I'm right here-"
"Well, if you wanna fight him you'll find out. I'll just... Be over here..." Bad turns and darts behind Sapnap and George.
"Uh... Okay then. I guess, you wanna duel?"
Techno's indifferent face breaks into a slightly insane smile.
"I'm gonna need a sword."
"Alright, 3, 2, 1, fight!"
Dream leaps forwards, slicing down. Techno blocks immidiately, pushing him back.
Dream tries again, Techno parries, then twirls their blades so Dream's goes flying.
He darts forwards faster than Dream can react, the latter falling to the ground, his neck at sword point.
"What the f*ck?"
"Language!"
"Well, pleasure dueling, now can someone please tell me where I am and how to get back?"
