Zak took in the sight before him. She looks even better than she did a couple of hours ago! Pick your jaw up off the floor, man! He felt his face flush.

"Come in," Sara held the door open for him. "You're early."

"I left a little early, made good time. I figured there might be some traffic," Zak explained.

"Was there?"

"Was there what?" Zak stammered, dazed.

Sara grinned. "Traffic."

"Oh! Yeah, some. I was a bit of a lead foot. The music on the radio was great, my windows were down, the air felt really good. I was just enjoying the night." I might have been speeding because I wanted to get back to you as soon as possible.

"Sexy island weather," Sara quipped.

"What's that?"

"Sexy island weather? It's my name for weather like this. When there's just a little extra something in the air, a kind of magic, where it feels like anything is possible."

Zak pondered this for a few moments as he watched Sara get her room squared away and pick up her clutch. She looks insane! Her jeans fit her body perfectly. She's not very tall – maybe 5'7", if I had to guess. Her cropped tee showed off her very toned and tan stomach. Her Vans added just the right amount of casualness. She looks hot as fuck!

"All set," she said.

"Do you need a jacket? It might get a little cold," Zak suggested.

"I'm okay. I run kind of hot."

Yeah, you do... Zak bit his lip. He was trying hard not to stare. The butterflies were back, too.

He held the door open for her as they stepped out into the hallway. Sara listened to make sure the door locked behind them. She didn't want any surprises when she returned later in the evening.

While they waited for the elevator, a young couple approached Zak and asked if they could take a photo with him. "Of course," he replied.

The man and the woman stood on either side of Zak. The woman smiled shyly and handed Sara her phone. "Can you take our picture, please?"

"Sure," Sara replied and snapped a few pics for the couple. Zak seemed to be in really good spirits, placing an arm around each of them and flashing his patented gorgeous smile. He has the most amazing smile! She handed the phone back to the woman. The couple thanked them and headed down the hall.

Zak and Sara stepped onto the elevator. It was almost full. Zak instinctively reached down and took hold of Sara's hand, slipping his fingers through hers. He had to touch her. He needed to touch her. The sense of calm he felt with her hand in his was addictive.

My God, he smells amazing! I have to find out what his cologne is, buy myself a bottle, and spray it on my sheets when I get home. Sara smiled to herself.

Zak noticed that some of the people on the elevator recognized him. He also saw that they were noticing him with Sara. Zak had always tried to keep his personal life on the down-low, but being a celebrity made that difficult. He could feel that Sara was aware that the people were watching them, too, but she appeared to take it in stride.

What Zak and Sara did not see, however, was the man at the back of the elevator, surreptitiously filming them with his phone.

When the elevator doors opened, Zak led Sara through the lobby and out to the valet where he handed the man his ticket.

The man filming Zak and Sara followed them off of the elevator and through the lobby, and even over to the valet, where Zak's hand rested on the small of Sara's back.

The valet pulled up in Zak's truck. As Zak opened Sara's door for her, he saw the valet's gaze lingering a shade too long on Sara. "I know, man, she's beautiful," Zak said to the valet, handing him a twenty. The valet cleared his throat and nodded to Zak.

Zak climbed into the driver's seat. "Are you ready?"

She arched a brow. "I'm ready. Are you?"

"Yes, absolutely!" He couldn't help but smile.

Damn that man and his beautiful smile! His lips look like sugar. How does that song by Echo & the Bunnymen go?

...Lips like sugar
Sugar kisses...

Sara licked her own lips at the thought.

Zak noticed Sara lick her lips. The thought of her lips and tongue on him, made something stir in his jeans. He shifted in his seat, trying to hide his growing erection.

They pulled out onto the strip. Sara heard one of her favorite songs on the radio, KISS' "Detroit Rock City."

"May I turn it up?" she asked.

Zak nodded. I'll give you anything you want, sweetie – the moon, stars, and everything in between. He looked over at Sara and watched as she mouthed along to the words, the wind blowing through her hair. She took his breath away.

...I feel so good, I'm so alive
I hear my song playin' on the radio...

"Are you hungry?" Zak asked.

"I am. Starving, actually. How's your hand?"

"It feels pretty good – very little swelling."

They pulled up to the gates of Zak's gated community, where he punched a code into the keypad and nodded to the guard. They followed a couple of winding streets before pulling into his driveway.

And before Sara could finish unbuckling her seatbelt, Zak was already out of the truck, opening her door for her. He helped her out of the truck and they walked hand in hand to the front door. Once inside, Zak disabled the alarm, took his Pendleton off and placed it neatly on the back of his sofa.

Sara took in all that was Zak's home. It was breathtaking – dramatic, even. She loved the open floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows. She had the same windows in her house; she loved being able to combine the indoors with the outdoors.

"Can I get you anything to drink? Water? Soda? A glass of wine?"

"A glass of wine sounds great," Sara replied.

Cool. "Red or white?" Zak asked.

"Red, please."

The design on Sara's shirt caught his attention again. "So tell me – what does a girl want?"
