Zak knew he recognized her from somewhere, but he couldn't place her. He didn't think they'd met before. He hadn't gone on a date with her. At least, he was pretty sure he'd never dated her. Is she an actress? Reality television star?

The captain interrupted them again, announcing that they had reached 10,000 feet, and everyone could unbuckle their seatbelts and turn on any portable devices.

Zak watched as Sara visibly relaxed. More than just seeing, he could feel her relax – he was an empath and could feel what other people felt. Feeling his neighbor relax immediately helped his own anxiety. Down, butterflies! Strange, I never feel relaxed when I'm flying.

The flight attendant took their drink orders; Sara opted for water and Zak followed suit. He watched Sara open her iPad and select an episode of "The Twilight Zone".

Interesting choice. "Are you a fan of the show?" Zak asked.

Sara was instantly curious. "I am! Loved it since I was a kid. Are you a fan too?"

Since she was a kid? How old is she? Late twenties? Early thirties is pushing it. "I can't really say. I've only seen a few episodes over the years. I've enjoyed the ones I have seen, though. What are your top five favorite episodes?" He was thrilled just to have the conversation continue, but his curiosity was genuinely aroused.

Her reply was swift: "'Walking Distance', 'The Hitchhiker', 'Mirror Image', 'Long Distance Call' and 'Night Call'."

"Wow, you really are a fan! You named those off the top of your head! 'Long Distance Call' and 'Night Call' – what are those about?"

"Phone calls from the dead," Sara deadpanned.

Very interesting! "Do you believe in ghosts?" Zak was enthralled.

"I do..."

And just as the mental tumblers began to click in Sara's head, a little girl maybe four years old came out of the restroom with her mom. She let go of her mom's hand to run over to Sara. The little girl stared and stared at Sara with wide eyes and said "Hiiiiiii..." holding up her tiny hand in a frozen wave. Sara smiled at the little girl and said "Hi!" back. The toddler smiled and then ran back to her mom.

"Do you know them?" Zak asked, amused as much as he was perplexed.

"No, I've never seen them before," Sara replied, perplexed as much as she was amused.

Zak was floored. The little girl had looked at Sara like she was an angel. In all of his travels and the people he'd encountered, he had never seen a child react to a stranger the way that this child reacted to Sara. Who is this woman? What is this woman? I need to find out more...

That's it! Sara thought. I know who he is! Ghost Adventures host – what's his name? Zak! How could I not recognize this man when I have been watching his show for years? She shook her head softly. You know, Sara, sometimes you're really daft.
