Despite her injured state, Sara insisted on cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast.

"Sara, you're supposed to be resting in bed."

"Go. Get ready for the guys to come over. I'll finish up here and take my ass back to bed," she said with a laugh.

"Your fine ass," he quipped.

She smiled at Zak. "Back at you. Now go get ready – I'm almost finished."

He smiled too, turned, and went upstairs.

Sara finished getting everything put away and stretched out on the sofa. Gracie laid on the floor beside her. Sara dozed off.

While Zak was getting ready, he remembered that Sara had sent him a text at the restaurant. I meant to look at that later, before everything got derailed, anyway...

He touched the Text Message app on his phone, opening it. He clicked on Sara's name and opened their thread. He scrolled to his message that read, "You look sexy AF 😍". She had replied to that with a YouTube link, and the thumbnail looked to be a music video. Zak opened it. The artist was Garbage and the song was "You Look So Fine". He hit play.

You look so fine
I want to break your heart
And give you mine...

Zak listened to the lyrics and smiled. He finally had some idea of how Sara was feeling and what she may want to see happen between the two of them.

...I want to take you home,
We'll waste some time,
You're the only one for me...

His thoughts turned to their interlude in his museum office. We were on our way home –

The doorbell rang, pulling him from his thoughts. Zak went downstairs to answer it and opened the door for his friends. Sara heard the noise and opened her eyes, sitting up slowly.

The guys all filed into the foyer. Billy, Jay, and Aaron each gave Zak a bro-hug, thankful that he was okay. Band of brothers, Sara thought to herself as she watched them exchange hugs.

Gracie barked, turning everyone's attention to her and Sara.

"Hey, guys," Sara waved.

"Sara, how are you feeling?" Billy asked.

"I'm good. Thanks."

They all made small talk for several minutes until Sara got Zak's attention. "I'm going to lay down. I'll see you later," she said to Zak, giving him a sexy smile. "Bye, guys."

"We'll see you later, Sara," Jay replied.

Sara waved to the Crew as she went upstairs with Gracie at her side.

"How is she, man? Really." Aaron inquired sincerely.

"She seems to be okay. The entire right side of her body is black and blue. She has a couple of bulged discs, too, but she seems to be taking it all in stride."

"And how are you?" Jay asked.

"It's weird. My body doesn't hurt – not sure how that's possible, but I'm going with it." Zak shrugged. "Okay guys, the footage isn't going to edit itself. It's time we get to work!"
