Zak sat with Aaron, Billy and Jay as they went through hours of footage, breaking it down and recording their voiceovers. Normally, Zak was a hyper-focused perfectionist. Today, his distraction wouldn't go unnoticed.

"Bro, what's up with you?" Aaron asked.

"What do you mean?" Zak replied.

"You're here but you're not really here...what's going on, man?" Aaron pressed.

Zak shrugged. "Don't know. Got stuff on my mind, I guess."

"Sara?" Billy asked.

"Who's Sara?" Jay asked.

"Someone I met on my flight, the day before yesterday," Zak replied.

"So? What's the big deal?" Jay asked.

"Zak's really into her, bro. She's staying here with her three friends and –" Aaron started to explain before Jay interrupted him.

"She's staying here?" Jay was shocked.

"Yeah," Zak said.

"Where are they? I didn't see anyone here..." Jay again.

"They're out doing girly things like getting their nails done," Zak explained. "They should be back soon."

"What's on your mind, Zak?" Billy asked.

"I'm not sure – I can't put my finger on it. We stayed up all night, we talked until the sun was coming up, and then Gracie and I took her for a hike in Red Rock. She's just different..." Zak's voice trailed off.

"I know what it is, bro: she's not like anyone you've been with, so you can't read her. Am I right?" Aaron asked.

"I think that's a big part of it," Zak acknowledged. "She's leaving the day after tomorrow. I want to keep seeing her, but I'm not sure how that will play out, seeing as how we live in different states..." Zak's thoughts were wandering again.

"Don't worry, man. I saw the two of you together last night. She's into you," Billy tried to assure him.

Zak sighed. He needed to figure out if Sara felt for him anything along the lines of what he felt for her. But how could he find that out without sounding like a stage-five clinger? We haven't even known each other for forty-eight hours!

Then Zak had an idea. He opened his phone and Googled "Twilight Zone Marathon". He knew he had seen a commercial for it on one of the channels. And there it was: "Syfy's Twilight Zone New Year's Eve Marathon, will again air beginning Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at 4am ET and running through Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 4am ET." He would simply figure out a way to ask Sara if she could stay with him for a little while longer.
