"She did what?"

Sophie turned to look at her boyfriend, her eyes wide. Kevin nodded. "I walked in and she literally just smacked me across the face with a handful of whipped cream. She said it was for a video."

"I must see that video," Sophie replied. Kevin laughed and shook his head.

"Absolutely not. I was so surprised my eye is twitching the whole time."

Sophie let out a laugh, squinting her eyes shut and using her free hand to hold onto her stomach. The other hand was occupied holding Kevin's.

They were taking a walk through the park, passing time before they were going to meet Stella and her new boyfriend for a picnic. As they approached the outer gates, Sophie gasped.

"Let's get ice cream!" Sophie exclaimed, pointing to the cart stopped a few feet in front of them.

"Right before lunch?" Kevin asked. Sophie turned to him with a grunt.

"You have to live a little. You're so used to your fancy life, you've gotta do something out of the box," she told him.

"Like eat ice cream before lunch?" Kevin replied. Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Shut up, let's just go get ice cream." She tugged on his shirt before walking ahead of him to the ice cream cart. Kevin watched her for a few seconds with his arms crossed before following behind her so she wouldn't have to pay.

"I'll have a small scoop of the cake batter please," Sophie asked politely as Kevin approached.

"Make that two," Kevin added, placing a ten dollar bill on top of the cart. The man behind the cart nodded with a smile and got their ice cream cones ready. Once they got their snack, Kevin took Sophie's hand again and began walking back the other way.

"Sir! Your change!" The man shouted from the ice cream cart. Kevin turned around with an extremely charming smile, waving his hand in a carefree way.

"That's okay," he said. "Please keep it."

The man's eyes lit up, nodding in gratitude at Kevin, even if it was just a few extra dollars. The couple walked back through the gates, sitting on the grass in the park.

"Thank you for ice cream," Sophie thanked Kevin with a smile, placing a kiss on his cheek. He smiled back at her before pulling out his phone to take a picture. Sophie mimicked the gesture and placed a kiss on his cheek while Kevin held his ice cream in front of the camera with a smile.

He snapped the photo and the two of them glanced down at the phone together, smiling in satisfaction. "That is so cute," Sophie stated. Kevin nodded in agreement.

"I'm gonna post it on Instagram. What should my caption be?"

Sophie pursed her lips. As Kevin opened Instagram and got the picture ready, Sophie was thinking very hard about his question. All of his Instagram posts had poetic, lyrical captions and she was trying to match the theme. Kevin laughed at her expression.

"Don't worry babe, I got it."

After a few seconds, Kevin put his phone down and looked out at the park as he ate his ice cream. Sophie looked down at her phone, seeing a tag notification on her screen. She opened Instagram to the picture of her and Kevin, captioned, "Sophie wants me to step outside of my box. So, we got ice cream before lunch, and this is my caption. Good, baby?"

Sophie smiled and turned to Kevin. "Perfect." He smiled back and placed a hand under her chin, pecking her lips quickly before going back to eating his ice cream.
