For the next few weeks, Sophie didn't see Kevin at the house when she went to clean. They always missed each other since he was busy when she came over, so he always made it a point to call her before he went to sleep, talking to her about whatever was on his mind and listening to whatever she had to say.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" Kevin asked into the phone, laying in his bed with his eyes droopy. Sophie smiled, her heart fluttering for some reason.
"Nothing."
"Cool, I'm picking you up and taking you on a date."
Sophie bit her lip and pushed her face into her pillow, trying not to squeal. She felt like a middle school girl with a crush. She picked her head up, her cheeks still red. "Okay."
"You should get some rest, I'll text you when I'm on my way," Kevin told her. She hummed in response.
"Goodnight Kevin," she whispered.
"Goodnight Sophie."

The next morning, Sophie made sure to get up early enough to shower and make herself look pretty, putting on a cute little casual summer dress and sneakers.
She went downstairs and waited on the couch, watching some TV in the meantime. Her mom came in the room a little while later, looking at her daughter with raised eyebrows.
"Look at you all pretty. Got a date today?" she asked. Sophie smiled with a nod.
"Yeah, actually. Is this too much?"
Her mom shook her head and walked over to place a kiss on Sophie's head. "You look beautiful," she reassured her. Sophie smiled in return.
After a few hours that seemed like forever, her phone buzzed and Sophie swallowed, looking down.
The Moon Boy
Can I pick you up in 15 or is that not enough time for you to get ready?Sophie smiled.
Sophie
That's perfect, I'm already ready.The Moon Boy
Look at you all prepared for our date;)Sophie chuckled and put down her phone, running her fingers through her hair with a squeal. After exactly 15 minutes, her phone rang.
"Hello?"
"I'm here."
"Coming."
She hung up and practically skipped to the door. "Mom I'm leaving!" she called out. Her mom smiled from the kitchen as Sophie walked out the door. She tried to gather herself as she walked to the car, getting in the front seat.
Kevin stared at her, his mouth dry. "You look beautiful," he told her. She smiled, her cheeks turning red.
"Thank you. Look at you driving yourself around," she said. Kevin chuckled.
"I would pick you up more often but you seem to like driving," he said. Sophie nodded with a shrug.
"I like being able to look at you in the driver's seat for once," Sophie told him. Kevin looked over at her for a second.
"I don't look at you that much," he said.
"Mhm," Sophie hummed mockingly. Kevin smirked and Sophie looked out the window as he drove away. "So where are we going?"
"To a Christmas party," Kevin answered.
"To—To a what?" Sophie asked.
"A Christmas party. You're going to meet my friends. They're from Korea. 한국어 할수 있어요?"
Sophie looked over at him and sighed. "응, 할수 있어요."
Kevin smiled. "I knew it. Then you'll get along with them well."
"You visit Korea often?" Sophie asked. Kevin shrugged.
"Sometimes with my parents. Jacob and Eric introduced me to some of their friends there too. We're all one big group now," he explained.
"That's cool."
They talked some more about their mornings before they arrived at a house even bigger than Kevin's. Sophie stared at it out the window, her mouth wide. "What kind of people do you hang out with?" she gaped. Kevin chuckled.
"You should see the basement," he said. "Stay here."
Sophie turned to him with furrowed eyebrows, confused as he turned off the car and got out alone. He walked around the vehicle and approached her door, opening it for her. She beamed and took the hand that was reached out for her, both her and Kevin's faces going red.
He held her hand tightly as he kicked the door shut, approaching the house with a giant smile on his face. He knocked once and then walked in, looking around. "They're probably downstairs," he said.
She nodded and they walked down the hallway to a door, which Kevin opened and then guided Sophie down the stairs behind it. She chuckled at the fact that he didn't let go of her hand throughout the entire walk around the house, and as they walked down the stairs she noticed the decorations.
There were Christmas decorations all over the basement, and a Christmas tree set up in the middle of the giant room, surrounded by boys. Sophie gaped at the room and the Christmas decorations before looking over at Kevin.
"You weren't kidding when you said Christmas party," she observed. He nodded.
"My friends are weird."
Sophie giggled as the boys began to notice that they weren't alone and turned to look at Kevin and Sophie. "Ahhh! It's the new couple!" Eric exclaimed. Sophie's face turned red and Kevin's eyes went wide.
Kevin chuckled awkwardly. "Soph, this is Sunwoo, Juyeon, Hyunjae, Younghoon, Changmin, Chanhee, Hyunjoon, Haknyeon, Sangyeon, and obviously you met Jacob and Eric."
Sophie smiled and bowed politely to the Korean boys. "Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Sophie," she spoke in Korean. All of their faces lit up.
"She speaks Korean?" Sunwoo gaped. "Why didn't you tell us? I thought we were gonna have to translate!"
Sophie and Kevin chuckled. Eric suddenly wrapped his arms around Sophie from the side with a warm welcome. "It's so good to see you again! Kevin likes you a lot!"
Sophie laughed at how forward he was while Kevin gaped at the things Eric was saying. Sophie patted his arm while chuckling while the rest of the boys smiled at her.
"You're prettier than I expected," Hyunjae said. Sophie raised her eyebrows and Jacob laughed awkwardly to try and calm Kevin's shocked expression.
"Yeah, Sophie's really pretty. Where are your guys' manners today?" He awkwardly laughed again and Sophie smiled at his attempt to help the atmosphere. "I think we need some more cups. Kevin, Sophie, wanna go get them?"
Understanding that Jacob was about to give a speech to the boys about how to act around Sophie, Kevin nodded and grabbed her hand, pulling her upstairs.
