I'll Save You

The Last Battle

    Raidon was the first one to move. Lucy transformed into Leo's star dress and dodged a punch that Raidon had thrown at her. She grabbed it with her right hand and slightly winced as his magic slowly decayed the skin on her palm. Acting quickly, she back flipped him to the ground allowing the harsh contact with the dirt leave him breathless. She summoned Leo to preoccupy Amara while she dealt with Raidon, but she knew that he could only last so long against one of the strongest members in the guild.

    Raidon got up within a split second and Lucy jumped back to avoid his magic. Lucy analyzed her hand and saw that the skin on her palm was almost nonexistent and was mostly just muscle. Thinking fast Lucy used Loke's light magic and ran towards Raidon with a glowing fist. Being to fast to have anytime to react, he got hit in the face with the full force of the attack. Lucy then switched to Sagittarius's dress and used the attack 'star shot'.

    By time the attack was done, Raidon was barely standing. But since he was still standing, meaning the fight was still on. Lucy looked over to see how Loke was managing and saw that he was barely keeping up with Amara's onslaught of attacks. She summoned Virgo to help Loke and yelled at her, "Virgo, go help Loke! Just try to keep her from me for a little while longer, Okay?!"

    "Sure thing, Princess. And please, don't do anything reckless!" Lucy smirked at this, she thought that she passed the 'reckless' stage already. Wasn't attacking a dark guild alone already considered reckless (some may even say that Lucy is suicidal doing such a deed, but she ignores that)?

    Lucy was just about to throw in another attack when suddenly Amara defeated both Virgo and Leo with a single attack. Without missing a beat, Amara started to run towards her. Lucy quickly grabbed an arrow and grabbed Raidon by the collar holding the arrow head at his neck. But Amara didn't seem to care, because she sent a dragon roar there way. Lucy instinctually let go of Death Wish's master and dodged the attack by a landslide. Raidon, however, wasn't so lucky. By the time Lucy had turned around, he was already on the ground with pure emptiness in his eyes.

    "How could you just kill your guild master?!" Lucy shouted. She was pissed that Amara didn't care what happened to her master or guild mates. How could she just not care?

    "Listen here, prissy little bitch. I'm happy that he died. He didn't deserve to be master anyway; I did. I was planning on killing him sooner or later, so why not just do it now? With me being master, the guild could be unstoppable! We could probably even take down that pathetic guild of yours as well!" Amara let out a psychotic laugh at the mention of taking down Fairy Tail. Lucy felt rage consume her as she finally discovered who had planned the deadly attack on Fairy Tail (the attack that happened because of Lucy's powerlessness). Amara had planned it, and Lucy has never hated someone more in her life.

    "Activate: Celestial Spirit King's star dress!" A bright light consumed Lucy as she activated her only hope to defeat Death Wish once and for all. She felt the warm hug the magic gave her and how comforted she was by the small weight of her sword. It was amazing really, at how at home she felt surrounded by her own magic.

    A flash of Natsu's dead body in her mind was all it took for her to start an attack. A glowing orb that looked like the galaxy grew at the tip of the sword until it was the size of Lucy's head.

    She pointed the tip of the sword towards and shot the orb at her enemy, "Galaxy sphere!".

    Amara used her own attack to block it, "Death dragon iron fist!" This created a big explosion that shook the trees around them. Lucy blocked the force of the explosion with her sword while Amara had to block it with her bare arms. The fist that hit the attack was purple and had pieces of bone showing. However, Amara showed no recognition towards it and tried another attack.

    "Death dragon roar!" An endless, pure black came out of her mouth with swirls of light grey. It was a black that Lucy had never seen before; it was infinite and had demonic energy embedded in it. Amara's magic was surely one to be feared, and for good reason.

    Lucy had no time to block the attack, so she quickly shouted a protection spell she had learned, "Star shield!". A giant shape star appeared in front of her and blocked the attack. Lucy could only use that spell once an hour, since it took so much energy. She just hoped that she wouldn't be needing it since noon was nearing and Lucy wanted to defeat Amara as soon as possible.

    Lucy noticed that Amara was glancing at Raidon's body with a look of hunger in her eyes. Amara fixed her posture and slowly walked over to him. So fast that Lucy had trouble seeing it, Amara ripped his arm off and started to eat it. Lucy told herself to move to do anything because this was her chance. But Lucy's body wouldn't listen to her -it just stood there as Amara took another bit out of the arm and watched as blood trickled down her chin. She didn't look as tired as she did before and Lucy could feel Amara's power rising.

    Then, Lucy was back to reality and her body started to glow a brilliant, glittery yellow. "Galaxian sword!" Lucy shouted with all her might as she ran towards the dragon slayer.

    "Demised flower: Dying explosion!" The enormous waves of black and grey grew closer to Lucy. The attack would surely kill her, but even with that fact, Lucy kept running towards. With a battle cry, she swung her sword and hit the attack with full force.

    The blond thought that the last explosion was impressive, but this one beat the other by a milestone. The explosion ripped the sound barrier creating a loud boom that left Lucy's ears bleeding. Some of the surrounding trees got knocked down and others even shriveled up and died from making contact with Amara's magic. Lucy tried hard to avoid the specs of dark magic that were falling from her enemy's attack but one landed on her. Lucy instantly thought that this was it. She was going to die and that was that. But she didn't, instead she felt something stir within her and Lucy knew that her scar was growing at a rapid late. And for a split second Lucy could only see Amara's battered and bruised body and wanted -needed to see it in more pain. Lucy wanted to her scream and beg her to stop.

    It was only for a second, but it was still very, very real. The five minutes were up and the star dress disappeared. Using the last of her strength, she transformed into her Cancer star dress and slowly made her way towards Amara. The villain was lying on the ground with her left leg crushed underneath a tree and her head was dripping with red liquid.

    It was five minutes until noon, and Lucy hoped that the explosion signaled the knights to where she was.

    Lucy pointed a sword at her heart, but all Amara did was give out a knowing laugh, "You won't be able to escape the darkness, no matter how goody two shoes you are. Once it's got a grip on ya' it won't let go until you give in."

    "You're wrong. I have found a way." Lucy stated with a tone that indicated that she had won. And Lucy was damn happy about that.

    "Oh, you're right. Are you really going to-", but before she could finish her sentence, Lucy pierced Amara's heart with her sword.

    Lucy started to laugh and then she started to cry. The crying turned into full on sobbing because she had won. Lucy had saved her family and she was so very relieved that it was all over. "I won..." It was something that she could only have dreamt about, but this was real. "I won!"

    She won't have to see her friends die those gruesome deaths. The weight that had gotten lifted off of her shoulders made her think that she could fly. Lucy grinned as tears still fell down her cheeks; it felt as if she could do anything.

    That's when the utter exhaustion hit Lucy. And the pain. The blaring, white pain from her entire body. The celestial mage fought for consciousness up until the moment when she saw the army with master Makarov at front. Lucy couldn't keep her eyes anymore and fell tp the ground that didn't seem as unforgiving as it did before.

    After a full year of nightmares, mental, physical, and emotional pain and she had won.

    She saved them.

God, this chapter was so hard to right, but I did it. One more chapter to go! It'll be out hopefully this week, but I cant promise that.
