"What the hell do you mean you got nervous?" Sebastian Stan burst into laughter.

Chris was so determined to hang up on his best friend. As if that wasn't enough, Sebastian went on to say, "Do you know who you are? You're one of the most famous actors in the world, that's who. Tell me again, why were you nervous when you asked Mila? Was she not impressed by the Disney dates, the movie marathons, the beach picnics, the Ferrari, the zoo, and everything else?"

He knew Sebastian was being sarcastic. With as much as Chris talked to him and Sofie about Mila, he knew that Sebastian always thought Chris was going overboard. Sure, some of that stuff he did as a joke to show off, but the majority of it was really well thought out dates.

"I can't really talk about this right now," Chris smiled to himself, still listening to Sebastian chuckle on the other line of the phone call. He looked up to see Mila had just come out of the shower. She had a towel on her head and changed into pajamas.

He was standing by the window of her room, leaning against the ledge with his phone held to his ear with one hand and the other tucked into the pockets of his suit pants. She didn't interrupt his phone call as she started to get her things ready for the upcoming school week.

"Fine, lover boy, but I hope you know what you're doing. The media is on your ass big time with the premiere around the corner."

"Why?" Chris asked. He was genuinely curious as to what him and Mila had to do with the movie premiere considering he has gone solo before.

"Dude, didn't you see the link I sent you? A fan asked Miranda at a meet and greet if she was going to the premiere to support us, and she said she had a good feeling that you'd ask her to be your date."

Chris burst into laughter at this, earning a confused smile from Mila before she looked back down at her desk.

"Where does she come up with this shit? I gotta go. Talk later, Baz." With that, he quickly hung up and went to sit at the end of her bed, behind where she was sitting with her back to him at the desk.

She asked, "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, your new house looks amazing. It is such an upgrade."

Mila turned around in her desk chair and nodded excitedly, "I know! I love it and it was perfect timing. I have to finish up some notes, but I'm so sleepy."

They had plans to get food tomorrow with Ashley at some point. Chris said, "Just go to sleep and I promise I won't distract you and I'll make sure you get your notes done. It's been a long night."

That was an understatement.

He didn't need to say anything else to convince her. She nodded and said, "You can have my bed. The new couch is actually super comfy, so I don't mind."

He laughed at this, pulling her by the wrist as she stood up to make her way out of her own bedroom. "Don't worry about it, Pooh, I'll take the couch. Do you think you have a shirt that might actually fit me?"

"I think so," she said as she went to her dresser to dig. Most of her lacrosse shirts were two or three sizes too large for her. She tried to find the largest one that had been unpacked and washed from all their moving boxes.

Mila tossed him a heathered gray tee shirt with "VSU WOMEN'S LACROSSE" spelled out on each band of the sleeves. The front was plain and on the back, it had her lacrosse jersey number and her last name above it in a dark red collegiate font for the school's colors.

He was no stranger to showing off his body and he showed no modesty when he slipped his suit and undershirt off. As it fell to the ground, Mila hid a smile to herself as she looked away just slightly.
